Located in Manunda, northwest of central Cairns, the CSDE campus is surrounded by tropical gardens and features purpose-built facilities designed to support high-quality online and distance education. Staff and students benefit from specialist learning spaces including studio classrooms, digital resource centres, libraries, and Makerspace areas.

As CSDE staff are required to work onsite, the successful applicant will need to reside in the Cairns area.

Chemistry (Year 11/12) - Physics (year 11/12) and Junior Science (year 8-10) - Temporary (21/01/2027 - 10/12/2027)
The successful applicant will deliver high-quality online learning in senior secondary science, with a focus on Chemistry (Years 11-12). Experience in Senior Physics and/or Psychology is highly regarded, with opportunities to support Junior Science (Years 8-10).
Psychology (Year 11/12) - Part-time (0.6 FTE) - Temporary (ASAP - 18/09/2026)
We are looking for a teacher who:
Has strong curriculum knowledge and experience delivering Science aligned with the Australian Curriculum Version 9 and QCAA Senior Syllabi.
Can design engaging lessons, assessments, and learning experiences suited to an online learning environment.
Has excellent communication skills and can build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues virtually.
Is adaptable and able to respond to diverse student needs and learning contexts.
Is confident using digital platforms, online learning systems, and technology to enhance student engagement.
