Studio Manager - Fitstop Engadine

THE EXCITING ROLE

We're looking for an experienced Fitness Professional who wants to take the reigns of a beautifull fitness studio and Community.

You'll play an important role in the continued growth and success of Fitstop Engadine, the role offers coaching, membership growth, sales,

retention and member engagement, Plus lots more!!

This is a hands-on role where you'll be expected to get involved, take ownership and

contribute to the success of the studio.

GROWTH

You'll play a major role in driving the continued growth of Fitstop Engadine.

This includes:

 Taking ownership of new leads and following them through from enquiry to

membership

 Confidently making calls, sending follow-ups and having genuine sales

conversations

 Converting trials and introductory offers into ongoing memberships

 Generating your own leads and identifying new membership opportunities

 Re-engaging previous leads and past members

 Encouraging referrals from our existing member community

 Driving local outreach and community engagement

 Building relationships with local businesses and developing B2B opportunities

 Identifying new opportunities to grow the studio

 Supporting local marketing and promotional activity

 Working towards clearly defined sales and membership growth KPIs

We're looking for someone who is comfortable with targets and motivated by results

— but who understands that great sales starts with listening to people,

understanding their goals and genuinely wanting to help them.

RETENTION & MEMBER SUCCESS

Getting someone through the door is only the beginning.

We want you to know our members, understand what they're working towards and

help them stay connected, consistent and accountable.

You'll be responsible for:

 Regular member check-ins and goal conversations

 Building genuine relationships with our members

 Understanding individual goals and helping members stay accountable

 Monitoring attendance and noticing when someone starts to drop off

 Proactively reaching out to members who may need additional support

 Supporting member retention and reducing cancellations

 Re-engaging members who have lost momentum

 Celebrating milestones, PBs and member achievements

 Encouraging member referrals and involvement within the studio

 Helping create an environment where people feel known, supported and part

of the community

We want someone who genuinely cares about the person behind the membership

and gets a kick out of seeing people succeed.

COACHING

Coaching will form an important part of your working week, so you'll

need the qualifications and experience to confidently lead group training sessions.

You'll be responsible for:

 Delivering high-quality, pre-programmed Fitstop sessions

 Creating an environment where members feel supported, challenged and

motivated

 Coaching technique, movement standards and safe progressions/regressions

 Understanding member goals and helping members progress

 Bringing energy, warmth and presence to every session

 Building strong relationships on the gym floor

 Helping members push themselves and achieve their goals

 Maintaining a high standard of safety, professionalism and member

experience

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

We're looking for someone who is genuine, driven, proactive and great with people.

You'll need:

 Cert III or IV in Fitness (or equivalent)

 Current First Aid & CPR

 Experience coaching group strength & conditioning / functional fitness

 Full Australian working rights

 Sales and/or customer service experience

 Confidence picking up the phone and having sales conversations

 A genuine passion for helping people achieve their goals

 Strong communication and relationship-building skills

 Confidence leading and engaging a group training environment

 A proactive mindset — you see what needs to be done and get on with it

 The confidence to bring ideas forward and look for new opportunities

 Strong organisation, time management and problem-solving skills

 The ability to work towards and take ownership of measurable KPIs

 A team-first attitude and willingness to get involved across the studio

Previous experience using Hapana or similar gym management software would be

highly regarded.

Above all, we want someone who is ready to take the role by the horns and make it

their own.

You'll work closely with the business owner and the wider Fitstop Engadine team,

with plenty of support, direction and collaboration.

But we want someone who can take that support and run with it.

Someone who thinks:

"This is my role. I'm going to own it, make an impact and see how far I can take

it."

A ROLE YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN

This isn't a role where you'll simply arrive, coach a few sessions and go home.

This will give you the opportunity to make a genuine

contribution across coaching, sales, membership growth, retention and the wider

Fitstop Engadine community.

You'll work towards clearly defined KPIs across membership growth, sales activity,

lead generation, retention and member engagement, with regular support and

performance reviews.

You'll also have the opportunity to take ownership of specific areas of the studio

based on your strengths and experience: whether that's community engagement,

member reactivation, local business relationships, marketing, social media or other

growth opportunities.
