About the role
As Stock Controller for the New Vehicles team at Mercedes-Benz North Shore, you will be the operational force that ensures every vehicle is accounted for, prepared, and ready to meet the expectations of a discerning clientele.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee the receipt, registration, and allocation of new Mercedes-Benz vehicle stock, giving you hands-on responsibility for an exceptional and high-value inventory
- Maintain precise records across dealer management systems, ensuring the sales team always has accurate, real-time stock information at their fingertips
- Coordinate vehicle preparation and placement so that every model on the floor reflects the standard the Mercedes-Benz brand demands
- Manage relationships with manufacturers and transport providers, monitoring incoming deliveries and resolving discrepancies with professionalism
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations, developing deep expertise in inventory management within a premium retail environment
- Support compliance with registration and statutory obligations, giving you broad exposure to the end-to-end vehicle lifecycle
About you
You bring a meticulous approach to your work and understand that in a luxury environment, the details are everything.
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience in stock control, automotive administration, or a logistics role where accuracy was non-negotiable
- Confidence navigating dealer management systems or comparable inventory platforms, so you can contribute from the outset
- An eye for detail that others rely on, catching inconsistencies before they become problems
- Clear, professional communication skills that hold up equally well with colleagues, suppliers, and manufacturer representatives
- A current NSW driver licence, enabling you to assist with vehicle movements across the site
