We are looking for tutors with a real PASSION for teaching English, are highly results-driven and have fast response times.
We are seeking:
- University level students - Education (Primary and/or Secondary), Law, Medicine, Arts students will be highly regarded
- Experienced primary and high school teachers
Tasks & responsibilities of the role:
- Create engaging and suitable teaching resources to add to LYT Education's high quality resource database
- Deliver top-quality learning experiences with LYT Education’s materials.
- Provide actionable and personalised feedback to students
- Manage students appropriately to ensure successful completion of learning objectives.
- Check-in with students' knowledge and retention of concepts.
- Share teaching insights and expertise with other members of the team during staff debriefing and training sessions.
The ideal candidate must have:
- scored a band 6 in their HSC English subjects and studied at least Advanced English
- at least 1 year teaching experience will be highly regarded
- flexibility to teach primary and high school level English will be highly regarded
Further requirements:
- excellent communication skills.
- a strong desire to see their students' academic improvement.
