Primary objective
Lead change management activities, including the configuration, design and implementation of the financial and budget
management systems within Financial Services, predominantly Ci Anywhere.
Context statement
The Finance Systems and Innovation unit is a part of the Financial Services branch, focussed on continuous improvement
and innovation, ensuring strong governance, financial management practices, performance reporting and systems support
to schools. The team’s clients include, but are not limited to, principals and administration staff of government schools,
corporate staff and related external stakeholders. This position will be responsible for leading advice, change management
and support activities regarding the development and deployment of Ci Anywhere used by all NTG schools.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Lead, design and implement change management strategies to foster adoption for the enterprise financial system, budget
management and payroll system in schools.
2. Influence ownership of finance systems across all school locations through building and maintaining productive working
relationships with stakeholders, leveraging existing networks and knowledge of school operating environments and
providing subject matter expertise.
3. Provide ongoing configuration, monitoring and reporting on system roll-out and training delivery.
4. Provide ongoing technical lifecycle management of the Production and Test environments of Ci Anywhere.
5. Design, develop and deliver school focused training programs and supporting resources that enhance capabilities,
including reviewing and updating current training, consulting on training needs, developing training content and materials
and facilitating.
6. Procure and manage the delivery of services via contracted providers.

Essential
1. Highly developed communication, negotiation and influencing skills and demonstrated experience in building and
maintaining effective networks and collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Proven experience and knowledge of business management practices, policies and related legislation; and a proven ability
to translate into practical advice and processes to inform and influence others.
3. Demonstrated ability to manage projects including the ability to flexibly develop and implement plans and manage
workloads against changing and competing priorities.
4. Proven capability to effect new ideas and ways of operating, including influencing others to engage in new technologies,
approaches and methodologies.
5. Demonstrated ability to support the design, and delivery of training programs including monitoring, assessment and
reporting effectiveness of training
