About the Opportunity
Based in Cairns, the Commissioning STW Lead will be responsible for the final stages of vessel commissioning and Set to Work (STW), including defect rectification. They support the project team and contractors in recommissioning equipment and systems, working closely with Waterfront Supervisors to complete commissioning before the vessel’s Transfer of Custody (TOC) from Austal to ABF.

You'll Need

Trade qualification.

5+ years in production delivery management and leadership roles.

Construction Safety Induction (White Card).

Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Customer-focused with commercial acumen.

Proven people management and team-building ability.

Knowledge of project cost, risk management, and earned value principles.
