A premium Italian-inspired café at Burnside Village is looking for an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team.
L'Americano Espresso Bar has built a loyal customer base and a reputation for quality coffee, fresh food and genuine hospitality. We're looking for someone with previous breakfast café experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in producing consistently high-quality food.
This is a casual position with the opportunity of more hours to the right person.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch service to a high standard

Maintain consistency, quality and presentation of all dishes

Complete food preparation and manage stock rotation

Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen

Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service

Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Assist with stock control and minimise wastage
About you

Previous experience as a chef in a busy breakfast café (essential)

Confident running a breakfast service

Able to work efficiently under pressure

Strong organisational and time management skills

Reliable, punctual and a team player

Available to work weekdays
