The Opportunity
We have an opportunity available for a Learning & Development Manager to join us in Brisbane or Sydney on a 12 month fixed term contract due to commence December 2026. This role forms part of our People & Culture function and is pivotal in developing the capability of our people across APAC and contributing to firm-wide talent and organisational development initiatives at all levels from vacation clerk to partner and business services staff across the firm. You will be joining a highly collaborative global team environment where you will be required to think innovatively and strategically to manage Learning & Development programmes and services.
Some of the main responsibilities will be;
- Facilitating face-to-face and online programmes for all levels and areas of the firm.
- Assisting with the innovative design and delivery of the firm's Ashurst Perkins Coie Academy programmes.
- Managing learning and capability development solution delivery end to end including needs analysis, design, delivery, evaluation and ongoing enhancement.
- Contributing to the management of learning and development systems, policies and processes including CPD, regulatory compliance, accreditation, requalification and study support.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:
- Experience as a learning and organisational development professional.
- Advanced facilitation and learning delivery experience - both face to face and online.
- Strong experience in learning programme design and delivery, demonstrating innovative thinking in approach.
- Proven ability to embrace change and adapt to evolving organisational needs, working at pace.
- Analytical skills for problem solving, identifying themes and patterns.
