The Role
This role is based across our Greater West Region and you will have to travel across all sites including Prairiewood, Liverpool, Blacktown, Rooty Hill, Guilford, Ashfield, Castle Hill and Chester Hill. These positions include day programs, home and community and community-based one-on-one support where you’ll have the opportunity to directly engage with clients. These shifts are day shifts of 09.00-15.00 or 09.30-15.30 or 10.00-16.00.

Implement person-centered planning and foster innovative support approaches to ensure client programs are tailored to individual goals and needs

Delivering personalised support by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication, manual handling etc

Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent

Supporting clients to engage and participate in the community

Building positive relationships with our clients

Transporting clients in our wheelchair accessible vans and pool cars

Requirements:

Experience in a carer role or life experience preferred however your can-do attitude is key!

A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum)

Must be able to travel across all sites including Prairiewood, Liverpool, Blacktown, Rooty Hill, Guilford, Ashfield, Castle Hill and Chester Hill
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:

NDIS Worker Screening Check
-
Working With Children Check
-
Current First Aid & CPR certification
-
Valid NSW Driver’s Licence (Full or P2)

Right to work in Australia
Desirable (but not essential)

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability)

Experience in disability, youth work, or community programs
-
Experience supporting individuals with complex needs or behaviours
