About DH Corrosion DPC Coatings
DH Corrosion DPC Coatings specialises in painting, corrosion protection and maintenance of surfaces and structures.
Due to an increase in work demands, we are seeking a competent and reliable Painting Trades Worker to join our team as soon as possible.
Experience within the painting industry is preferred. Training may be provided to a suitable applicant who demonstrates a willingness to learn and develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces for painting, including masking, sanding and preparation
- Filling holes, cracks and imperfections
- Smoothing and sealing surfaces
- Preparing paints and coatings
- Applying paints and coatings using brushes, rollers and spray guns
- Airless spray painting
- Cleaning and maintaining painting equipment
- Maintaining clean and safe work areas
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Working effectively as part of a team
About the Role
The successful applicant will:
- Have a positive and reliable attitude to work
- Be able to work effectively within a team
- Be available to work Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Be available to work Friday, 7:30 am to 2:00 pm
- Be willing and available to work reasonable overtime, including Saturdays, when required
- Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements
- Wear and properly use the required PPE, which will be provided by the employer
Skills and Experience
Preferred:
- Experience in the painting and coatings industry
- Experience with airless paint spraying
- Knowledge of surface preparation and industrial painting techniques
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a team environment
Experience:
Airless paint spraying – 3 years (preferred)
Licence:
Driver Licence – preferred
Work Location:
Dandenong VIC 3175
Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Dandenong VIC 3175 or be willing to relocate before commencing employment.
