A typical work day comprised of a morning walk thru the centre with my night shift supervisor, conducting an audit and action plan to rectify any issues found. Next was to set work plan for dayshift cleaners and verify roster placement of staff. the day then comprised of walk rounds of the centre and have staff attend to any issues found. I worked with a knowledgeable team, staff friendliness.  I learnt  a great deal about retail cleaning.
Great support from my national and state line managers.

This position was part time while a staff member was on maternity leave, worked Thursday, Friday ,Saturday and Sunday.The Customer Service desk was at Knox City Shopping Center, we would hire out scooters, wheel Chairs, Baby trolleys, sell gift cards, direct customers to different store locations.

I have never worked for a company that doesn't care about it's workers. The R ostering is very hard. 6 days on straight 3 days off but shortage of staff means you always get called in the middle of the night to cover a dropped shift. Weekend overtime is only given to favourite guards and Secure Corp don't care so long as the shift is covered. 

-Typical day at work would be signing people in contractors etc.
-I learned how to check for hazards in a data center.
-Management was always a big help very good.
-The co-workers were very good and professional.
-Hardest part of the job the long hours.
-The best part of the job was the great team we had,Great bosses and management made my days go alot faster.

Higher management back you up. Good award rates of pay. However inexperienced management from shopping precincts monitor sites and tell experienced security personnel what to do. Security staff need to work autonomously. 

The company hires and uses staff which are completely unsuitable for the job.  Poor communication skills, abhorrent customer service skills, unqualified and unsuitable staff used in supervisory positions. Management mediocre and fails to get staff who are better suited to the positions.

With this specific role I had the opportunity  to experience different people, the way they act and why they act that way. I also learnt how to deal with different situations such as theft, violence in a shopping centre and also gained customer service skills.

They pay award wages,plenty of work at the moment. Management is easy to talk to. Worked in a control room environment on level 4 pay. Plenty of over time shifts if you want the work. Made 75k last financial year. 
 

shocking place to work with them,managment were very poor.all up themselves.not enough breaks,and they did not put on alot of staff during christmas time.the other people i worked with were excellent.

Good company and good management also good people to work with. As casual the provide me with the hours I am available to work, win win solution with my main job as a mother
