Due to my energy and loyalty to any job, my typical day at work.  I would arrive usually before 7am and prepare the tills, daily duties for staff and walk around the store to plan and see what can be done today.
Management is an awesome job if you have the energy, dedication and the love for your job.  The Staff to work with once they know what you expect of them, they can do the job with great results.  I beleive always respect your staff and talk to them not down at them.  The hardest part of the job was the hours were never long enough, you needed 8hands to do store and paperwork.  Most enjoyable part of the job is the smiles, compliments and satisfaction from customers, and the regulars who always come back because they love coming back.  To be able to thank the staff at the end of day for their wonderful work.  End of day usually didn't leave till 6pm or at some stage would stay back to finish work off, why because I didn't mind doing it.

At Overflow I always had a job to do and if I didn't i would find one. I learned a lot of new skills working at overflow, such as; Customer service, communication, money handling and team work. 
I got along with all of my fellow co-workers and we always worked as a team to get the job requirements done.
The hardest part of this job would have been the end-of-day money count.
the most enjoyable part of this job would have been serving customers.

I enjoyed seeing the range of stock coming in. Each time a load came, it was like Christmas, always a surprise. Sometimes exciting and sometimes a worry. For example, glass ware, didn't always move fast so it was sometimes a worry if it will all fit in the allocated spot in the store.

I learnt many different skills such as using the register and EFTPOS machine. I enjoyed working for Overflow FNQ as they has a very lovely and considerate team.
