This was a very busy store, and my main aim was to deliver exceptional customer service.

I was involved with cash floats, opening and closing of store, magazine returns, newspaper returns, merchandising, lotto and Instant Scratch Sales, including preparation of Store Syndicates, Ordering instant scratchs and merchandising, general merchandising within the store, staff training, and general housekeeping.

Working at NewsXpress Melton was a great job well run family business great people to work for most people working there were long time employees. Everybody was trained in all aspects in the running of the business and encouraged to promote change.

Great atmosphere and team members everyone is there to lend a hand and we all help each other out where needed . I love coming to work as there is always a new job to do not just serving but new stock arriving and displaying in store .

A great place to work with decent hours, friendly staff and enjoyable work. You learn a lot in terms of account management, person skills, up selling, customer assistance and financial handling as some skills that are transferable from this job to another.

Great place to work with a great team and great management. The hours are really good, with minimal evening work, and the daily tasks are enjoyable. As far as a retail job goes, this is a great working environment to be in.

Newsxpress was overall a great place for me to work. I have experience in retail with a news agency background and the store had great management and team members. I had to leave as the store couldn't accommodate my increase in full time uni hours.

News Xpress is a friendly place for the locals to get the latest news. The staff is lovely, although young. The most enjoyable part of the job is that you get to know customers personally and develop friendships

It's a great place to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. People are very easy-going, fair and supportive through an employee's development. I enjoy my time working for my bosses in their stores.

I enjoyed my time at NewsXpress, I worked and supervised junior staff , I loved the fast pace and enjoyed working with the customers , I ran the store on weekends with total responsibility for everything
