Good pay, good discount. Head Office and CEO’s push Your Dream Life Starts Here way too much, people don’t care that much about Kristina’s book. Paid staff meetings, casuals can expect more hours during Christmas but a lot less during winter and New Year because it’s not as busy. Signing customers up to a membership system that offers no benefits is difficult and you’ll be told off for not getting enough sign ups. Personal KPI’s are tracked and you’ll lose shifts for underperforming. 
kikki.K did not handle their administration well, communicated poorly with stores and staff regarding the future of the company, and only gave the stores who closed ONE DAY’S NOTICE of termination of employment yet expected staff to pack up and close their stores. CEO’s care little for their staff, only about lining their pockets. 

The work was great and the people were great but it was almost impossible to meet expectation in terms of how much customer service was necessary.

An above and beyond attitude was expected and that was good and okay but no matter how hard I tried, how many sales I hit, even when I hit all my KPI's (which was most of the time the case) I would still be told I need to do better and be told what I did wrong.

There was no positive reinforcement from this company. It was draining having to send out "3 positive experiences" emails daily and having our "great experience of the day."

Having to pester the customer over and over even if they've said they just wanted to look on their own made transactions uncomfortable.

Aside from the way the company was managed the staff themselves were great and the customers were great.

Really enjoyed working there and had a great relationship with all the staff however always felt uncomfortable with the methods that they pushed on us to enforce on the customers in order to 'ensure a sale'. Had, to make sure every customer was greeted and then bombard them with questions and what's happening in the store even if they just wanted to take a look around. Made working there slightly dreadful as if our KPI's weren't good they would think we weren't talking to the customers enough. Sometimes people just want to take a look around and not be disturbed. Doing a simple greeting and letting them know that you are there to help is all you need. 

It was hard to meet KPIs when you are a casual and all the shifts you are given are only 3 hours in length, not much was communicated about what I was supposed to meet either, was just told if i had met KPIs. A lot of emphasis placed on signing up members which was hard because everyone is already a member or they dont really want to be. The pay was fantastic though as a casual, just wish I got more shifts. The staff discount is amazing and the products are really good quality! I was however not told about my contract ending and they let me go when I was still rostered on to a couple of shifts and no one in management bothered to tell me.

Relatively fast paced and challenging on daily basis but extremely competitive and rewards employee of the month, management would not offer support or advice to employees on how to improve job performance and would publicly denounce employee mistakes in front of all staff, minimal respect between management and staff, extremely focused on sales and upselling, focused primarily on profit at risk of staff health

What is the best part of working at the company?
The training was amazing, i learnt a lot of visual merchandising, the ethos was solid and my upper management supported me so much as a store manager. Loved it. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Stock take during Christmas (which is across the board for all retailers) and finding fill ins for sick staff.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Heavily focused on personal growth, mindfulness and staying positive. One of the best places ive ever worked.

Managers and all other staff were so friendly. Great benefits and discounts across the group and thorough training. The brand ethos seems synonymous with the views of upper management i.e. the Swedish lifestyle, gratitude and mindfulness Hygge movement. 
I worked in the same potition at a different store several years ago prior to them being taken over by Brandbank and it was a lot better but still a great company to work for

While I loved the store, customers and products - management were really non supportive of future growth and longevity with the company. As a casual I was doing my job and the part timers job and assisting the store manager with hers as well. Sadly they closed our store once the new campaigns from the new designer launched. The company fell apart when acquired by brand bank. 

A typical day at this company is just having one person on the floor all day - they expect VM, Customer service, Managing , general tasks everything burdened on one person. 
No support and only judgement from upper management. You can’t use the toilets cause you will be on the floor in the store at all times. No proper breaks. Mentally and physically exhausting. Don’t Do It. 

The management and environment at Kikki.k  can only be described one way; toxic. No one in management will be willing to support you, and in fact they will exploit you on a daily basis in order to get what they want. They in no way consider your feelings or emotions and do not care for you as a person. I would strongly advise against working here.
