I've worked at IVE for over a year and a half now and have loved (almost) every minute. From my first day on the phones as a tele-fundraiser I knew I'd stumbled upon something special here. A call centre role like no other. Yes there is rejection and hang ups but I never lost sight that what I was doing was incredibly important and impactful. I've never felt so much responsibility in a role than I do here at IVE. It's a role where you are turning up every day not just for yourself but for the greater cause. No it's not perfect, as a tele-fundraiser you get hung up on and some days may not achieve the results you hoped for but no job is ever going to be perfect. I am willing to take some rejection for the greater good and ultimately these harder days are always supported by the amazing people that work here and from the friendly management team. Contrary opinion aside, they do only want to see you succeed. The rest is up to you. You get out what you put in with this role so ultimately you are the only person who can decide how far you go in the business. 

Your team is your family and are genuinely the ONLY good thing about this backwards work place,the management are manipulative and condescending. No room for growth or mistakes,only ever told what you’re doing wrong. If you love being mentally abused and taken for granted come on down to pergatory. You think you have an amazing idea please keep it to your self cause it’s not wanted in this work place.Ohh and did I meantion absolutely NO fun or enjoyment is to be had during the hours of 10-7pm or you will be punished. please hit KPI every single session but also don’t do too well or they nit pick your every call to take the money YOU earn from your paycheck for “deductions”. Please any medical conditions or personal matter keep to yourself as it’s not longer important or sympathised with between 10-7.CEO amazing bloke cares about his staff just unfortunately does know what happening with the management team in the call centre. 
Other than that pretty great place to work

This is perfect for anyone who wants to keep fit or earn a few extra dollars each week to get by. The pay for the work you do is probably not worth it and varies. For eg: 6 catalogues $32.00 one week 7 catalogues $33.00 the followimg week. The lowest you'll earn is $20 and the highest is $50. The weather situation can be hard especially in certain areas such as Melbourne and your area manager can give an extra day to deliver. I had 350 homes to deliver to and folded catalogues for roughly 1- 1.5hrs with help which became very relentless at times and delivery took 2-2.5hrs. The load you'll carry is quite heavy. It is perfect for a stay at home parent such as myself, a school student, someone between jobs, someone who wants to maintain fitness. 

Great place to work, plenty of room for growth if you’re using the right behaviours ie showing up to work on time, following break schedules, taking on board coaching. The coaches are amazing to work with, they help you find your niche and let you know where the areas of improvement are if any, otherwise remind you how well you’re going. Great support from team leaders and management team. Lovely people make it seem a little less like work. Will teach you resilience most out of any strength which is a great trait to have! Working for charities gives you a sense of accomplishment every day especially when you get great results!

Honestly, you make a lot of friends from all different walks of life and the culture is fun and exciting. The money's especially good and the incentives really do make the work harder. But the management isn't that great, they try to make it out that they care for their employees but in reality, they care about the numbers. There wasn't a time where I felt secure in my job even though I was meeting all the expectations. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend staying with this company for long but it is a good introduction to call centre life and they are very thorough with training so you do gain a lot of experience.

Pareto is like a family to me. Calling for charity isnt for the faint hearted but from day one Ive been shown support and felt the whole company was wanting me to succeed and flourish. You meet amazing people from around the world calling with you and get to connect with some incredible, passionate people over the phone. If your not sure what you want or need work while your travelling, studying or whatever, give it a go, you just might find a family here to!

A very rewarding job, due to the nature of the work. A typical day would involve a lot of outbound calls to Australian members of the public, where conversations would range from quick hang ups to long chats about charity work and personal life experiences. The hardest part of the job would be working to no avail, hearing 'no' repeatedly can take its toll, however having a good day signing up lots of people for charities outweighed the negatives.

This company does so amazing work and calling for many different charities. Even though day can sometimes feel so slow you always go home knowing you've done some great work for charities wanting to make a difference.

The downside is that it is pretty cut throat. Because we are calling for charities it means you need to be on point every day.  There is also no opportunity to progress within the company.

Motivation is encouraging us to make the most sales and we get a prize like a bottle of wine But I don't drink well not much anyway hh

Shifts get cut for weeks on end with minimal notice. Expectations are high and actual support is low. Honest communication of standards is lacking throughout the process.
