Client are wonderful however there is endless complaints about management not updating clients when their service time has changed or even cancelled leaving clients upset. 
Rostering is all over the place and there is no set roster times for workers, even those on a contract. Scheduling are constantly messaging and calling outside of work hours and will guilt you if you are ever unavailable to work. Contracted hours are never met cause the rostering team will roster under your contracted hours and blame you for not picking up services when asked last minute to change your roster to add hours. Manager has no clue what they’re doing and will always shift the blame onto their workers instead of actually taking time to train employees correctly.
Support workers are demanding they stop messing with clients service times and mixing up the clients regular support worker as this causes stress to some clients, this has been reported multiple times to management but they seem to never have a solution and will dodge the questions. Overall great clients but the company seems to want numbers and the staff turnover is high, around 2 support workers leaving every month. 

From the very start, even before my interview, I felt welcomed and supported by this Organisation. Caring people helping to care for people!
I enjoyed being welcomed into community homes and being a relied on part of the families within them. 
Communicating with culturally diverse people became my greatest skill. I handled language barriers with ease and became quick minded with strategies that would overcome problems.
I felt strongly supported by a succession of three great team leaders who were always there when there was a higher need for expertise in the field, or direction when I needed it.
I was constantly encouraged to attend paid courses by the organisation and the most fascinating was the day seminar on Autism and Aspergers also open to other organisations and the public.
Being an Aged Care Worker has given me a great respect for individual choices and a great outlook into how I want to live my twilight years.

If you like cleaning then home and community care is for you. If you like caring then there is not a good balance and they don’t take your skills into account. I worked for IL in Tasmania and they were fantastic I did palliative care as well as dementia care and the occasional cleaning, but when I transferred to mid north coast nsw I became a cleaner with the occasional care thrown in. None of my previous experience mattered because they just wanted workers. I was feeling very sore and very worthless by the time I left to work in a facility. 

Do nothing. Nobody likes being lied to, and the natural reaction is to call the liar out, but that’s not always the smartest thing to do, especially at work. Before you do anything, ask yourself, ‘What’s at stake besides my ego?’ Carefully weigh the pros and cons before you take action. Consider who, if anyone, should know about the lie and the implications it has for the company. Sometimes, the animosity you avoid by staying silent is worth more than the satisfaction you receive from speaking out. Other times, the lie is serious enough that people have to know

What is the best part of working at the company?
My direct management team are amazing. In fact, from the CEO down are pretty great. Supportive, listening, helpful. Everything you want in a team that just wants to help.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
If you're not used to it, managing your own day and working as an independent unit

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Wonderful. Great group of people

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
There are no typical days, each one is unique.

New boss is very busy with backstabbing politics and "lots of meetings", "back to back" but is somehow never available after 2pm. Funny that.

Just tells everyone else to do the work and she then may "comment". 

The only thing she has planned brilliantly is to score herself the highest rate of pay as compared to her mates at the same level which must irritate them.

Meanwhile 50% + staff turnover a year.

Work with clients is the good part of the job. 

The job itself is easy, although you’re a glorified cleaner. 90% of the job is cleaning, although it is rewarding. Your roster will change regularly, and it’s difficult to accommodate at times especially with such short notice. Usually little to no contact with any other employees, which can be both good and bad. There have been times, more often than not, where minimum hours aren’t rostered and it can be a struggle to work here with it being a main source of income. 

I have worked here for many years and it has never got better. They are over controlling, send you up to an hour away from home, expect you to base your whole life around it, send you to do 10 hours cleaning a day when in the interview they say they won’t. They use people knowing they’ll quit anyway because the job is so horrible. No end of year Christmas celebration and a $25 voucher for all the over time and stress you take on

I had a wonderful time while working for integrated living Muswellbrook I enjoyed my work nothing to complain about everything was great administration, clients ,salaries, friendly staffs specially my team leader was so wonderful she was patient, encouraging , so social, and so simple,supportive, good listener to staff, problems or issues solver, good advices   I really wish that all the supervisors will be like her

It was good. Most people were very friendly and supportive.
