A typical day at golden circle consisted of packing pine apple pieces into cans along a process line while at the same time checking the quality of the product. I also worked as a machine operator, putting pineapples through a skinner, which also required keeping the shoot clear and changing blades when required. The hardest part of the job would be the down time if machinery was being repaired and the working hours - 1300-0100 - were sometimes difficult. The thing I enjoyed the most about being working there was working with the machinery which was challenging and a learning curb in my production work history.

I worked for golden circle for three years,it was a good place to work nice people,golden circle really helps me a lot gained my skills in all areas,from machine operator to forklift driving skills. It was an enjoyable place to work I worked in a tetra pak department dealing with poppers,from expiree dates, wrapped them in pack of six,and 4 set of six into a carton,then transferred them to the robot through conveyor where they can be stacked on empty pallets and transfer them to warehouse where they can be stored.golden circle was a good place to work.thanks

A relatively welcoming atmosphere, despite its cold, industrial appearance.
Workers are, mostly, always smiling and friendly.
Management is great and take care of staff.
Work can be very labour intensive, standing for long hours, though plenty of break time is allocated.
Noise levels in some areas of the factory makes conversing with colleagues impossible, so the use of hand signals and gesturing is something you'll come across and adjust too.

a typical day is very busy at this time of the year.because i am not work shy my 8 hour shift flies by.i drive a truck(hr)+a2.5 ton forklift.i pick+pack raw materials for the production crew.load+unload trucks.do paper work for incoming+outing.i learn something new every day.management are very supportive.my co_workers are teammates.the the hardest part of my job?its all goood.the most enjoyable part of my job?clocking off.

I would arrive at Golden Circle at 7:45 every day for the work experience week, the start time was 8:00. I learnt about the machinery and electricians skills at Golden Circle. The managed my day schedules pretty good no errors would occur or interrupt.  The co-workers treated me greatly and fairly. The hardest part of the job was the precise adjustments etc on the machinery, although it was the most enjoyable part of my work experience.

Golden circle was a very good succesful company whom I had the privilege of working for. Although my hours were not stable, I loved the workplace environment although very professional and strict they very much looked after you as a worker not a number

shift work, which is good because you are not always having to change your routine. 
hardest part of the job, would be having to learn without anyone training you (at the time, the now have trainers that help those who are new, learn), but gradually the job got easier. 
the shift is usually easy shifts, people are friendly and the supervisors, management and coworkers are very understandable.

Enjoyed all of the roles within the organisation including management of the production planning, warehousing and distribution, projects, raw materials and operations departments. A multicultural workforce using multiple manufacturing methods in a fast paced environment.
