If you were wondering why they are constantly advertising positions, it is because of the insanely high staff turnover due to the awful work environment here. The management is extremely unprofessional and often gossip with workers about others consistently, creating an awkward toxic place to be. The employee discount is laughable considering the amount of work you have to put in to succeed there, which includes memorising a excessive multiple step welcome process to each customer which is not only unnecessary but off putting. Not to mention working in a store for extensive hours which reeks of chemical hair products and has harsh lighting. It is easy to see the terrible management here stems from the HQ team, who has no regard for employees and even after being contacted after facing issues with management, which was acknowledged as error on their behalf, was ultimately never followed up. Was also berated for changing my availability, even though I was one of many casuals and told they could be flexible with my hours... Don't waste your time here. 

The only good thing to come out of this place was some friendships with colleagues - simply due to surviving awful upper "management". Staff are required to harass customers as soon as they enter with their ridiculous "welcome mat" - no one wants to be annoyed the second they walk in. Their HQ staff are truly comical with absolutely no idea how the stores should run, be prepared to alter the relays every day because they don't know how to create a merchandise plan! Purchasing should stick to ordering the stock rather than micromanaging and watching cameras all the time. The pay is abysmal and the discounts are even more laughable. Believe the other reviews ladies! Save yourself the stress and avoid this company or you'll regret it!

Hours are typically long as the shop is only open until 5.30 the latest. Unless you are a full-time or part-time you they don’t give half-day shifts. You are given 3 breaks but generally dont get all three everytime even if you're doing more than 9 hours. Management was very two-faced and great at gas-lighting for when you can’t come into work even if you’re practically bedridden. Management also doesn’t really care if you start to feel unwell at work as long as you finish your shift. They’re very particular about welcoming customers and basically coerce you to even when the customer obviously doesn’t wanna be bothered as a result, they usually end up lashing out on you.

Management wants to change the culture but haven’t changed their approach leading to same toxic workplace. 
High turn over resulting in team members who aren’t quite suitable for role. Leaving good staff to leave or become stressed for taking on a heavier workload.  
No benefits for team members. You get trade discount but no employee discount meaning a lot of products are still full price. 
Employees were offered incentives for meeting KPI’s and weren’t delivered upon meeting these KPI’s. 


Experienced nothing but support and kindness while working here. Having previously worked in a very toxic workplace, I struggled with anxiety and self doubt but have had so much genuine support from my team, other teams and upper management. Everyone truly just wants the best for each other, and everyone helps each other out wherever possible. It’s refreshing to experience a working environment where growth, kindness and honesty are encouraged, and feedback is always welcomed and considered.

HQ Management has no regard for the mental health of in store staff, only care about reaching budget and red hot totals. Expected to coerce customers into sales with a ridiculous store welcome and management can’t see why it doesn’t work for every customer. Feedback is “encouraged” but as soon as feedback is given it’s a big deal and you are told off. It’s like they started a business and then never put any thought into how it actually works operationally. Do not bother getting a job here. High mental health risk for lower pay.

You’ll be given a task but dw it will change every 5 mins and on top of that serving customers not knowing any knowledge because there is a million different products and then serving aswell and then getting back to what you were doing ? by that time you’ll probably forget what you were doing. 

Managers watch you like a hawk, can’t socialise and ask other colleagues how there day is going. 

Like a prison.

I loved working for this company it was fun ,they pay well and give great incentives and discounts,training nights and give you samples to try and also give you products.I loved how busy it is and day goes very fast.Very professional.Was sad I had to leave.
Only thing I didn’t like was starting at 8.00am as too early for me lol.9.00 would have been perfect haha.

Be prepared to suddenly become jobless for months at a time and get told last minute about the decision. The wage was poor and my coworkers were paid significantly more than me. Completely lack communication and then act like you are the one at fault for their poor management. Constantly trying to hire new staff due to people quitting all the time. Days felt long and dragged. The only good thing about this job was the flexibility. 

This place gives no induction or training, no communication whatsoever about what or when you are getting paid, or what shifts you will be working. I did not receive a contract until 2 weeks in. The ONLY thing they are clear about is how to welcome customers which is super specific. You would think they would like to teach you product knowledge or WHERE the products are around the store but you are just left  to figure all that out on your own.
