I never felt so overwhelmed and stressed about a job in my life. They put me in a group setting with no heads up and no background on the disabled clients. In the short time I was there I learnt that the staff let the clients get away with many bad behaviours that also includes harming the support workers, management expects you to know what to do on little to no instruction and their way of training you is putting you in a vulnerable position to fend for yourself with no adequate training from a staff member. Management is really hard to get a hold of and they don’t do as they say. “Supportive training” is a joke. The only good things about the job is the pay and the clients. Oh and I found out 2 days in the job that they’re slowly pushing out the staff that have been there for atleast a year (such as only giving them 2 shifts a week). So work stability is thrown out the window. There are so many companies that are desperate for support workers that actually care about their workers, so don’t settle for annecto! 

I dont recommend anyone to work for annecto. 
No support from management - they do organise workshops but theres never a single outcome. 
Upper management never spare a single hour  to visit the residents but yes they will ask you to complete a monthly report outling clients goals and achievement and will only visit clients a day before the final audit .( How would you know the client just by reading the report lolz ) Management tries their way to force people to resign before audit just to cover themselves. 

Team leaders /  Support workers are treated as minors and if you complain no one listens instead they will try their best to harrass you . 
Not only myself but many others have resigned in a months time just because of the management .

The clients and support workers are lovely to work with.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not being paid for kms travelled greater than 9 kms.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
There is no to very minimal communication between managers and support staff.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Support workers attend to shifts in clients homes to complete various goals. Clients are very happy that they have been supported.

unfortunately a toxic environment with toxic upper management. 
not a safe place for LGBTQIA+ people and workplace does nothing to address ableism or a culture of low expectations for people with disabilities. 
my training and experience was not valued in this environment, except that I was given a whole bunch of extra unpaid duties during my work and none of this was appreciated, only expected.
Management refuse to hire enough workers or support people in lower management roles so there is a constant turnover of people

working with the good people makes you inspired to do your job

communication with the office people

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
safety is the first thing the company rules and make sure their worker are safe to do their job

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
when the time im tired they give you more job without rest

Unprofessional, discrimination, favoritism and promotions on non-merit.

Salaries are not equal, some employees are paid higher yet they do the same work as the rest.
Some employees are favored with more working hours than the rest.
Sleep over pay is below the industry proposed rate.
Some clients are race discriminating - they prefer to work with Australians only.

Never have no jobs, they always have shift for you. Fantastic staff and management and always willing to help out if needed. 
Best thing is you can tell them your availability and if you want time off that’s fine as well. 
Money is great depend on how many hours you do.

Opportunity to discuss and review with team members. constant and transperant updates from management on the direction of the company and future goals. strong support from all levels of managment.

Bullying and no support. Management sucks to climb corporate ladder and has no qualifications. Didn’t even have to go through interview process. Management also wouldn’t listen to the little person. No support at all for front line workers. 

Some staff are good however management not supportive 
Not job security at all, can be kicked out any time. 
Longer unpaid breaks in short shifts
No balance
