I live in Campbelltown region, and most of the work they have offered me is closer to Parramatta, going out to the city, so I don't get much work from them as I am not willing to drive that far from home constantly.

But the management there are great, they're easy to contact when you need something. They pay km's for when you have the client in your car for community access shifts (do NOT pay km's to and from work)

In the end, if you're closer to the area they offer work, it would be an amazing opportunity to work for them or if you are willing to drive the distance, it again will be a good opportunity. 
They just don't have much work around where I am located which resulted in the mixed ratings, and again, not willing to drive that far for a couple hours of work.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I was passionate about working with young clients in their home while parents are present.  I love this aspect of my role because I can visibly see the impact of my work  in the faces of the clients and their families. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Uncertainty about hours worked, at that time I just got my qualifications and I was willing to serve the less privileged but there were no room for me to fulfil that. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It was friendly and supportive 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day was when a participant had tantrum

What is the best part of working at the company?
Management are easy going and I feel comfortable around them.  I loved being with the clients. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Sometimes clients can be a handful. Shifts can alter. Traffic can be difficult. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
One of the better care providers. There's some rotten ones out there.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Doing what needs to be done. Have good and not so good days.

This used t be a great place to work. However lately staff are not treated respect, nothing is ever done about complaints to HR and the way clients are treated is beyond a joke. 
Staff do their own thing with no regards to anyone they are meant to work with, no training ever provided, below pay rates, massive staff turn over. 

Your mental health will  take a toll working here, just don't do it.

I enjoyed full time work, on casual basis work  offers were limited. I found I had to tavel further than I wanted ie from Innerwest Sydney to the Northern Beaches. This could take up to 3 hours travel wasted in a day. 
Working with adult disabled clients required strength, physical fitness and sound mind, I found it exhausting at age 55. My most enjoyable experience was working with the indigenous and being welcomed into their community

The office staff are very supportive and with any issues or concerns Ive brought up with them, they have always taken it seriously and actioned it.

I've been lucky to have amazing clients that have been very inspiring to me.

There is almost no communication with the offices or the support workers. If you feel unsafe at a job and ask to leave and not come back you are blacklisted and hardly ever get asked to do other jobs. I am constantly asked to take shifts with small children and I am trained in aged care.

A lot of places SAY that workplace culture is important to them, and that they promote a supportive environment.

Then you work there and it's like heading into a coal mine everyday. You're waiting for the collapse at any minute.

That's not Zest.

Zest actually HAS a great culture, a supportive team and you walk in to a smiling receptionist who is friendly and engaging.

Typical day at work would be helping clients with their daily activities and making sure children are well looked after. The hardest part of the job is travelling to shift. Management is very supportive and Eap support is great. 

Zest Care is a friendly and enjoyable place to work. The culture is really positive and all staff support each other. We have a dynamic team who all get on really well and work as a team.
Training and PD is always available.
The management team are supportive and great mentors.
