ZING POP CULTURE

Whilst the workplace is fantastic and the job is amazing, the in company games that need to be played to rise above the rest leaves a bad taste in the mouth when merit should lead, and add to that the insecure hours, you'll need to have a second job to be able to pay the bills. Other then that staff are great, customers are great, and the workplace and support from managers and area managers is amazing and second to none. 

A typical day of work consists of recovering the store with visual merchandising and meeting the needs of customers.
The customers are Zing Pop Culture's number one priority. Zing Pop Culture always aims to be customer-focused over task-focused and tries to go above and beyond for its customers. A strong background in retail and customer service is valuable.

Favouritism from management and issues with managers doing things they are not supposed too.
Unfair and not giving new employees a chance, as favourites are rostered on for shifts.
Complaints are not handled professionally by upper management.

Ive been at zing for a long time and at first it was great but after some time when the budget for the store was being cut over and over, you end up with barely any hours/shifts.. Like a couple a month.. Love the pop culture side of things but the management isn't great and neither is the time and effort i put in to only get 4 hours a week.

Love working here. If you're a massive fan of pop culture, disney, marvel, and any associated game brands, you'll love working here. Love working with our team but I must say I'm incredibly lucky to work with the people I do, as I've worked at similar stores with less structure and poor personalities.

Supportive, fun and high energy are what I would say about the work environment. Management has good communication but mainly based in Melbourne/QLD. Pay is okay. Team mates are supportive and fun to be around. Its a retail job but you sell fun stuff! 

Working at Zing is always a good time, with a productive team and genuine friendships between the staff, Zing will always put the customer first and go out of their way to get what the customer has asked for.

This is an amazing place to work! Great people who have common interests in pop culture. However, being a smaller retail store, if you aren't management shifts are short and limited.

Worked at Zing over the Christmas period and management and co workers were nice and friendly. Customers were friendly too, it would just get pretty busy in peak hours.

definitely different compared to most other retail places, its a fun working environment and definitely enjoyable since you sell products you enjoy. hours go up towards christmas
