I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. They don’t care about there staff nor give them the respect they deserve. Most centres don’t even care for the child either. This company is in it for the money not the children.i wouldn’t even give them one star. 

The only way to survive and get anywhere within the company is to bow down to upper management and to be friends with your service director. If you're an ethical ECE you will not survive in this company.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Systems are in place. Big budget and nice office. 


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
People. No one cares. Very unprofessional. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
If they feel you’re one of them, they are all for you. Favouritism. Operates on power 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Just all about efficiency. No mention of advocating for children’s rights

Being a mum of two young children, I was looking for a place that offer best work life balance and  Young academics was the best choice i have ever made.
i have been working for YA for nearly five years and loved every minute of this journey. Management is very supportive and they truly treat their staff as family. Great initiatives for educators and their professional development. 

Easy and approachable management. Educators are all lovely to work with. Each educator is dedicated and this is seen through the aesthetics of each room. Love that new incentives have been introduced to recognize everyone within the team. I have learnt a lot within the company and was provided with every opportunity to learn and grow.


Young Academics has been an exciting company to work for to date. They are constantly seeking ways to improve operations and business efficiency, as well as driving high-quality practice in their services. The Operations Team and broader Leadership Team at Young Academics are knowledgeable, supportive, and an overall great group of professionals to work alongside.

In the beginning working for YA wasn’t to bad, everyone was supportive and lovely but as soon as you get to know people they turned real nasty, no additional support and you will be thrown into the deep end. Let’s just say I wouldn’t go back, I felt like I had no one to talk to and all I did was stick to myself..(well in the centre I was in) 


Company is currently going through a growth period with lots of great new initiatives being put in place. Great bunch of people to work with who are all passionate about providing high quality education.  Management are very supportive and responsive to new ideas and feedback.

Young Academics is a fabulous company to work for! They have a professional environment with a goal of supporting , nurturing and upskilling all educators. With flexible working arrangements and employee incentives it’s a great place to begin or further your career in such a positive environment

One of the worst companies to work for. Higher management are rude and only care about making money. Hardly ever got new resources. Barely got any programming time. I was constantly stressed and hardly received any support. Only good thing about this place was the some staff and families.
