Worked as a forklift operator/dockhand, very fast-paced, staff very difficult to work with. they claim they are very friendly and helpful, in actual fact it's false. when I started they all looked down at me when they asked if I had experience and I told them my work history I got frowned at. one staff in particular always screams and abuses me. I found out new staff don't last long and have left there and it slowly made sense to me, the staff makes it hard for new staff to stay on, they make sure new staff don't last long. The staff doesn't converse with you and help you as little as possible.  You need to have thick skin and very high tolerance to work there. safety is non-existent, forklift operators have no regard for safety (nearly got run over a few times when I was opening and setting up trailers) got abused when I was walking the warehouse floor by forklift operators. my typical day at work is hopping on the forklift, open up curtains of trailers, unload this is done on at least 7 hours of my shift. you only get 1 (30min) break. load up a trailer going to country NSW. I learned to be tolerant, the hardest part of the job is hostile staff enjoyable part of the job is pay. management? well you don't see them or him.... 

a typical day at work here entailed shifting a large amount of boxes down the belt to separate into vans and trucks. i learned how to wrap and stack pallets to a high standard and keep warehouse clean. management was fairly inconsistent by way of being relatively not involved. co workers were laid back and sometimes dissorganised. hardest part of the job was some manual labor. the most enjoyable part of the job was having time to myself.

i was on linehaul for 2.5 years , loved it , when i burnt my right arm ,i was unfearly dismissed , the company solicitor was going against the burns registrars medical instructions , ie back to normal duties , which was driving at night to my destinatiion , and to keep out of the sun , but the solicitor decided to put me on day shift out in the sun , and was told if i didnt like it , to leave this company , so i had no choice but to go

There was only my pay that made me happy,and half an hour lunch.The work enviroment was rude and no respect for work colleges and their requirements.People were signing me out without my permission and in as well.I tried to correct this but the management didn't.No locker was offered to me,but others got one.

Been there for 8 years .enjoyed working there with the old staff . But since new managers come in all drivers not happy because they cutting drivers and putting pressure on drivers to go out fo there daily routine and do delivers for other runs which they cut short and it create havoc . Drivers get booked but there is no concern from the management. No respect for loyalty and hardwork. They just want their job done

I had a very good experience working with Nat at Cairns QLD branch. He is a supervisor and always look after his employees. Job was relatively easy and vans, truck are well maintained. I had a good time, unfortunately I had to move overseas. Would work for them for a longer period if i could!!!

Forklift Operator/Driver; 6 days, good overtime and variety of freight. Loading/Unloading 3T trucks to B-Double & Containers.
Experience in skids, pallets all sizes and euro’s. Tubs, crates and DG’s. Stock control,pallet counts, linehaul and arrivals/departures.

Management were sexist and very demanding when it came to shift work, which all three CSO's did not want to do, so basically we had to do it or we lost our jobs. I was made redundant because of a medical condition that stopped me doing shift work. Very unfair management team

Busy most of the time, some really good people in the depo, pay was very average if you didn't work overtime. Local management was okay however the big boss was not good.
