I was underpaid for the whole two years I worked here, wasn’t even given the minimum wage pay increase each year, and was still expected to go above and beyond my job description to help out. Management liked to complain to employees about money problems, and wouldn’t listen when confronted about pay or staffing issues. Constantly short staffed because they “couldn’t afford it”. Guests were constantly rude and unhappy and employees were verbally abused on a daily basis. Every time someone wanted or needed time off management acted immature, like it was the end of the world and that we wanted the business to fail just because we had other life commitments. That said, everyone I worked with (excluding management) was absolutely lovely. Everyone was hardworking and looked out for each other, we all did our best to make each day the best we could make of it. 

worked at ramada hope harbour was put off because of conflict with too many family members working there one girl had been there same age as me 6 yrs jody made my job horrible all because she wasnt pointed as bar manager when i spoke to management about it i was put off.was on salary of 38hrs was doing about 46hrs which is all good but they tried not to pay me overtime but fair work made them so any employees that have worked there overtime just letting you know you can get your overtime i got mine will never work for wyndam again .

I left the company because the supervisors that we had was a completely bully. In front of senior managers they were completely different. Had escalated my issues many times to management and nothing was done about it, so myself and many others left because of someone’s leadership skills.
I hear things are now better because the bad management and the bully’s supervisors left early this year

What is the best part of working at the company?
The best bit is how under paid you get but yet you are expected to work like a dog and if u love working in an unsafe mould ridden workplace then sure work for Wyndham as aslave

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Being there and breathing mould and the constant unsatisfactory of never having any gloves to clean with

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very very hostile and backstabbing at its best oh and if you live lieing you will get on great with the manager and supervisor

It’s exhausting working here, every day we get put under the pump with unachievable  boards, we are always left exhausted, we have no lunch breaks, never stop, we are not respected my other team department staff, the company doesn’t respect us either and will “sell” as many rooms as the  can and have no remorse for the housekeeping staff 

I worked Wyndham destinations in Ballarat region and my experience was 1 l'll never forget.. if you are not one of their favourites they will make your job harder as you miss out on shifts especially weekends..
Being 54 years old all I wanted was to work and earn a living but they made it so hard for me that I nearly had a nervous breakdown.. honest to God..
Then I left..

Fun and great place to work - Was placed on a 6 month contract and was unfortunately not given the opportunity to have this extended. Attempted to drop to Part-Time to persue Study but no flexibility to accommodate this. Fantastic training program and encouraging support and motivational management team.

you need to be on the same side as your managers otherwise it will be hard for you to succeed in the business. understand that change is inevitable and have to be easy for you to adjust straight away

you need to get your managers to see the best in you and give you all the  opportunities that you believe you deserve to also have a fair shot of the opportunities.

more fun at work...moe enthusiastic and motivative.i learned alot of helping tenancy.management was so great and helping.work place culture was exelant.each and every ones are more helpful.enjoyable part of thr job is meeting a differetn kind of clients and talking to them,hardest part was convincing them to buy a product

Really poor management and not fair workplace I have  work 3 year in housekeeping they give me really hard time never Appreciated  your hard work only complaint for such a stupid things which I haven't done, they only care about their fav people. If you can't  be fav of then your kicked out from there so guys don't west your time
