-A typical day at work would involve coming in and making sure all my staff were on their cash register serving customers or doing something productive with their time. Throughout the night i would designate jobs to be done to the team while counting and balancing the tills at the front of the store as well as completing paperwork and product counts, whilst making sure other employers have their breaks and go home on time. 

-I learned great time management and organizational skills.

-Management above myself were very helpful in any aspect and were easily aproachable. 

-My co-workers and i were like a big family that all worked together to get the job done and service our customers.

-There wasn't anything that was really hard about my job as a service cashier/supervisor, occasionally you would have challenging customers that had to be dealt with and shoplifters but that was it.

-the most enjoyable part of my job was walking into work everyday and seeing my staff excited and happy to see me.

This was my first ever job and I love it. My role is a service cashier at a big chain supermarket. I have a permanent roster with set hours as well as annual leave and sick leave. both my co-workers and my bosses were generally good to work with, you can't however get along with everyone but I find politeness was always a good way to get along with everyone. As I am standing up the whole time in the same position, eight hour shifts could be a bit hard. The hardest part of the job however was learning to deal with difficult customers, however it has also been the most rewarding part of my job.

A typical day would involve getting the store ready for customers and was very often enjoyable with helpful and caring staff as well as decent workloads.
Learned many skills such as food servicing, register operations, smoke counter control, truck delivery procedures, meat/deli food slicing and WHS policies and procedures.
Management was often there when you needed them. 
Hardest part of the job was the diffuicult customers as is any job but that also helped me in my approach to problematic situations.
Making new friends that often led to amazing opportunities.

the most enjoyable part of my job was that every day heading to work was exciting  because you dont now what the day will bring and that you where aways going into a friendly and supportive enviroment  the hardest part of the job what that you didnt see as much team work as there should be. the management and staff are very welcoming and suportive  and typical day at work is no stop serving and give the best customer service as you can

Counting and balancing registers, cleaning up register area while working as a Checkout operator. Delicatessen involved setting-up, cleaning and dismantling of the machines, depending on what shift. Ensuring delicatessen items are weighed and packaged properly

I enjoyed my time with woolworths. I left because i was moving from australia to england. The people were very nice to me and i could see many career path opportunities that were available if i had chosen to take them.

i worked at Woolworths with the intention that it would only be till i found what i wanted to do, however that turned into almost 5 years.

Woolworths is a great place to socialize and its great for a part time job however i wouldn't make it a career.

Enjoyed my time at Woolworth every much. Over three years it has become too much and the hours are not working into my lifestyle anymore. although it was fun it is time for me to find another job preferably full-time.

It was enjoyable to work at Woolworths. I worked there for many years. I would work there again if give the opportunity. I offers a wide range of opportunities for young and older people looking to get in the working industry.

I was with the company for 18 months and regretted it from the second day. Horrible culture. People pretend to want to help, but don't. I could recommend Woolworths to my enemy.
