Support of the staff with general office administration as requested, across 3 locations.

A TYPICAL DAY INCLUDES:
* Diary and Client managing.
* Customer inquiries through phone, email and online systems.
* Position Of Sale and daily reconciliation of accounts/banking.
* Security systems.
* Support and placement of refugees/asylum seekers with short term  accommodation, food and general well-being.
* Meeting and greeting people from all walks of life. Remaining neutral and unbiased as to cultural beliefs, so that I can better understand their needs.
* General all round administration duties and following government procedures.

* Our offices are open from 8am-8pm & and we work in 6+hr shifts.

* From the time you open or close the office you rarely are able to grab a moment for a quick break.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Really great place, and great Council to work for.
The Staff, the systems in place to help each worker in times of hardship, illness, emergency or disaster are second to none. On the Job training provided and the possibly of advancement with many different career paths. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The alarm systems and safety practices require the testing of loud alarms in some buildings, on the rare occasion the alarms will go off due safety check, or by mistake can be slightly stressful to staff and customers depending on who is utilising the facility at the time.  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Really great culture and work environment with many different choices for indoor/outdoor work activities, training and jobs available.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Fast paced and  always meeting new people.

This role was an absolute time waster!! They hire a large casual pool and allocate shifts based on nepotism which excludes other staff in having the opportunity to gain skills and have fair economic security. Staff are given little to no training which is an absolute shame as the gallery is a wonderful space and the gallery could benefit from casuals in particular those with an arts background. I am leaving this review in the hope for some change in management and leadership, with better appreciation of staff, fair shift allocation and training. The hourly rate is attractive but is not an overall incentive with lack of shifts. Aside from this the Gallery and dedicated Volunteers are absolute gems.  

Arrive at central depot, collect job cards for the day, prioritise which jobs are classified as urgent and offensive and deal with first. Ensure all equipment, materials is on board vehicle that i am driving, make purchase orders for materials required for the next day, always keeping up to date with paperwork, SMDS sheets. I enjoy working part of a team, however also enjoy the challenge of carrying out the work myself, ensuring all is in place.  The weather can sometime be the hard part of the job, dealing with extreme heat or even high winds.  Most enjoyable part, driving away knowing that i efficiently succeeded the job task.

Typical day at work would include customer service and feed back, cleaning, administer first aid if required, observe and report, fill in documents and close shop with locks and alarm codes.
What I learned is how to deal with a wide range of tasks that are associated with the job.
Management are overall good and supportive.
My co-workers are overall good and supportive.
Hardest part of the job is dealing with difficult clients.
Most enjoyable part is also dealing with clients.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Good organisation  security  and good conditions. Enjoyed  my job 38 years.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Neighbours  disputes trying to resolve   and  keep all parties  satisfied. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Excellent   great work  colleagues  good morale  been retired  16 years  they tell me things have changed.

Start normally  inspections  restaurants  legionnaire  samples.

Review  invoices that have not passed through to the accounts payable in preparation for payment. 

Check invoices from Scanning software. Check for errors and corrections made.

If it wasn't such a drive from Mittagong I would love to stay here.  Great people to work with and very flexibile working conditions.  You can arrange your day as it suits and this motivates me to be as much help as I can be.  Mostly, it's the lovely people I work with that keep me here.

Funny people and it great environment and they train your properly with With the correct tools and any questions you need answered then promptly.
A little stressful at times although if you hit your targets your phone I will certainly recommend this to anybody
