I thought I had landed a great job although an hour from home.
Interview was brilliant and the CEO was very impressed with previous work experience.
Since being guaranteed the position it all went haywire.
Training was pathetic, as it involved the growing time of seedlings etc, when growth reach point of being planting, co-ordinating orders and deliveries, orders changing after truck left plant, a nightmare and very high stress level to inconsiderate customers which the company tolerated beyond reason.
Parking far away from office which was a demountable shed.
Going to the bathroom in the rain was ridiculous.
If rain was heavy, running from office to the bathroom demountable shed was a wet experience to continue to work for hours in wet clothes.
Floors hardly washed, hence very dusty internal conditions.  No dusting etc. 
Lunch either at desk or nearby maintenance area.
All in all a horrible experience.  I was dismissed after six months due to a customer changing an order AFTER the truck had left for its deliveries.  I was blamed for $66,000 loss of seedlings, clearly not my error.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Clocking off. Inconsistent scheduling impacted my work-life balance causing stress and instability.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Unprofessional behaviour from managers. Room for improvement in how hours are allocated. Hours get cut if you’re a threat to full time staff.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Unhealthy work environment with a culture of deception and conflict.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Being a target to certain managers who lie to serve their own interests. Whether it’s seeking personal gain, avoiding blame, or advancing their career, they prioritise themselves over honesty.

I started as casual employee and worked in all the departments of the nursery.Took an interest to learn about the process of the water department and was helped by management allowing me to learn.I was satisfied with my co worker as they where there to help me at the right time and right place.I had to work during week ends.

The best teamleaders and easy straight forward work. Managers also treat staff well and pay is around 27-28 per hour. Easy to get VOC for tractors. Recently all casuals have gotten extreme hour cuts but it's supposed to be temporary. Also not many options for weekend work or overtime

Promised work I never received. Complete waste of time. Very clicky place to be. Management continuously lie to cover their own inefficiency. Hardest part of the job is dealing with the snobbish attitudes and listening to team leaders complain about their managers.

Enjoyed working there would still be there if not made redundant, co-workers good to get on with. Pleasant outdoor scenery and work areas.

If crawling in mud and eating your lunch in filthy common rooms is your thing then this is the job for you. OH and S is pretty non existent and dont hope for any kind of stability in your employment as you will have your shifts cancelled with minimal notice.

Great place to work. All different kinds of work so never boring. Management is fantastic and really great, understanding staff. Competitive work environment but works really well.

great place to work, plenty of hours overtime for weekends was available if wanted . Great safety standards. Staff were always willing to train and instruct in proceedures.

great to work for  friendly staff varied work can get very dirty good pay  never know what days you are working until week before can be out of work at short notice
