We start with a really fun Wineup/Zoom meeting with our fabulous team to talk about the Day before and celebrate everyone's results, Changes/incentives provided to us for the week. If we need to change things as to what is working and what isn't, as a team and we are very team focused and supporting each other is very important as a family business.
I have learnt to become a team player I have always loved wine and now I am receiving extensive training and wine Knowledge and how important it is to match our stunning wine with the correct food as it is part of every day's greatest joys drinking good quality wine and sharing them with your friends and Family.
I now have the best managers with so much support and patients always reachable and very supportive. So much love and support is very important to me. I personally believe i have the best job in the world juggling Family and life in general thanks to my Team. We are very respectful of each other with lots of laughs along the way.
The hardest part of the job is believing in yourself 24/7 and tomorrow is another day you always have to take the good with the bad and trust yourself and our team.
I have had some amazing opportunities in the 9 years eg Travel seen so much of Australia and have met some amazing people and friendships, always on a journey with Shows and some wonderful experiences. When I first started at WS I was a cellar door agent in our airport channel. 6 years later I’ve progressed to become the Territory Manager for NSW, running a team of 15. I’m one of the lucky ones in the world that I can say hand on heart that I am excited to go to work everyday! To be honest - feel like I’ve never worked a day in my WS career.

Essentially the job is to promote Australian wine by signing memebrs to a wine club subscription, which is exactly as advertised. Management and coworkers are all supportive and easygoing and they offer access to SWISH training to enhance sales skills regardless of your experience, or sales level. 

Hard parts: You need to learn to receive and handle rejections, but I think it comes quickly with the territory. 

Best parts:  Meeting interesting people from around the world and of course, signing members and hitting star tier. Woop! 

There are a lot of incentives, commissions and staff outings so the culture so far seems to be excellent. I would recommend it. 

Since starting with Wine Selectors 3 months ago I have been nothing but supported and blown away by the amount of support and care the managment have for all their employees. From sales training to wine education this company has all grounds covered to help their employees excel and acheive their targets.

Having been in many sales positons before I can personally say this is the most caring, fun, friendly, approachable business I have ever worked for.

The company supports local wine producers and only delivers award quality wine. Which benefits the sales staff because we have daily incentives to take it home. The commission stucture is uncapped and easily achievable.

Working for a family owned business can come with it's own stresses but Wine Selectors doesn't give the feeling of working for anything but a world class business. The owner is often seen in the halls of the business chatting with employees, the GMs and CFOs are also known to pop in and have a chin wag from time to time. It's a great environment. Ideas are given from frontline staff and considered on measured levels not just forgotten about. The care and time that is put into how the products and wines are selected are next level, there is a great deal of pride taken in representing wines and wineries across Australia. 

I worked for Wineselectors for 7 years and had a great time. The best part is the tight-knit team, as you really do become part of a family when you join. All on site and head office managers really care about you, and always make the effort to support you as an individual. The wine is awesome and the wine education you get as a staff member is an amazing perk. I really became a more confident person in all aspects of my life after working here and I’m very grateful for all the training.

I have been at Wine Selectors for a few years now and I would never leave. The Management really cares about everyone and the wine is so good.
I have a great work/life balance and if i need extra money i can work more for a while. The commission is great and actually achievable, not like other sales jobs i have had. 
100% recommend this company to anyone who wants to enjoy where they work and earn great money!

I have worked for Wine Selectors for a few years now. The team enviroment an support are second to none. If you want a challenging but rewarding job this is certainly the one for you. Especially if you love wine like we do!!!!!
The hardest and most enjoyable part of the job would have to be the extensive wine researching ;-)
