Prepared and implemented defined strategy and business plans for SEQ in accordance with Company’s marketing strategy
Prepared and implemented budgets for Brisbane & Sunshine Coast branches ensuring optimal profit earning potential
Analysed monthly P&Ls and Balance Sheets
Monitored and authorized creditors and debtors
Maintained and protected Company’s assets
Authorized sub-contractors claims and payments
Responsibly managed and monitored inventory control levels
Reviewed and approved tenders
Prepared monthly reports for executive management
Assessed and negotiated contracts
Initiated and implemented cost reduction with national contracts

A typical day at work would be to be there by 5.30am and load your truck ready to go.
I learned work hard you get respect
Management was very co-operative and willing to help with any enquires
Hardest part of the job was working in the heat of the day, but that was the advantage of starting early was to get most of your job done before the heat of the day
The most enjoyable part of the job was meeting new people all the time and dealing with people

What is the best part of working at the company?
Had certain job to do and was shown what needed to be done. Great people to work with. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Making sure the payroll was correct each week.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very good. Everyone helped each other. feel a good vibe.

Rubbish money and the superintendent has no people skills what so ever , x doorman and wannabe biker who's prescence on site just irritates the few long termers left, the place is a joke and you are at the mercy of South 32 cutting your wages and conditions to 1990 levels whilst paying themselves bonuses and pay rises , yes its that kind of place , avoid like the bubonic plaugue

Waco gave me the opportunity to learn on the job and be part of a genuine and successful team no matter what branch I worked in

at times long hours were needed but generally was quite balanced

if KPI's were met there were quite generous rewards to be obtained

overall a satisfying company to work for

I was only working once a week with Waco Kwikform.
Mangers were excellent people to work for. Fun and enjoyable place to have been.
Work was always constant, making sure all paper work for the scaffolding was up to date and reviewing all the scaffolding when it was returned.

Very good management and nice team work. Very good risk management. Hazard free or well managed. There's respect always from the top. I  love working with Waco Kwikform ana will like to introduce friends to the company

They had lot of work around Brisbane at the Time , so we were very busy , the supervisor was awesome and the fellow Scaffolder’s were good to work with as well

Have worked here for 20+ years. The management team is very supporting and offer as much help as required. They have a strong OHS&E commitment to there staff and customers.
