Working with a great group of people 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Leaving after 18 years 
There was nothing really stressful at all love working at the hospital and then with community health services wa great job and great people specially working with the community people 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Need more culture training plus understanding the aboriginal people. doctor's and nurses should listen a bit more to what clients/patients are saying how they feeling ( not all people are drug users) 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
When I was there just leaning from everyone else like immunisations, lots of home visits, talking to the young mums about baby checks, immunisations, weights ect, baby formula or breast feeding, failure to thrive., FASD.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Meeting people from various backgrounds 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I was hired as a PSA but had to do duties ourltside of my job description 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They all left WACHS after the poor handling of a Patient who was deceased

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Enjoyable, I make the best of each day and tried to be a pest and productive member of the team

Working with the Transitional Care Program which is part of the Geraldton Regional Hospitals out patient services has given much valuable experience. Working with a multi-disciplinary team has expanded my knowledge and scope of practice. it has afforded me many valuable learning experiences, as well as the opportunity to gain confidence in providing the best possible care for the client.

Varied rural surgical challenges in safe and sound settings with excellent colleagues and back-up.Formidable on call requirements but excellent communication and support from ED colleagues.

Great opportunities learn new skills online trainings such as cultural awareness , work place bulling , ethical behaviour, record keeping,chemical handling for managers, fire safety practical training , manual handling practical training, excellent work team, flexible working hours, supportive management

I enjoyed working at WACHS as I was part of a team however I also was left to do my job.
I was respected for my capabilities and often took on extra work to assist the team.

I didn't find any part of the job particularly hard as I enjoyed working their.  

The most enjoyable part of the job was that you were treated with respect.

setting up theatre for different surgeons , transporting clients from different areas regularly, cleaning inbetween each surgery , restocking medical supplies ..  sometimes the pace of theatre could be very hard and fast ..

Nice co workers and management team. The hardest part was remote travels. My most enjoyable moments was organizing events like carers week health promotional showcases.

Great opportunity to work with the public providing a valuable service to improve quality of life for the elderly. Varied tasks make a busy day providing job satisfaction.
