Every day at work was rewarding, and I loved going. I would get to my station half hr early just to set up, to unlock my tools and get out what i needed and have it ready, to find out my line-up of different variant truck cabs for the day and order any small parts I needed if I wasn't stocked up for the day/week. 
I got along great with my supervisors, line technicians and co-workers which made my days even more enjoyable. If I wasn't hungry on my breaks i would just work through them and if I ended up being ahead I would take a walk down my line to see if anybody needed a hand with their station because I loved being a part of something so great. In doing so I was able to learn numerous different stations and add to my skills matrix. 
Volvo trucks was the first job that i was actually keen to get out of bed for at 3:30/4am and get ready for. 
So I guess the hardest part of my job was to leave each afternoon and most enjoyable part would have been waking up to start my day off.
I also loved the hrs 5&6am starts with the odd overtime which i loved and the option to work over the christmas shutdown period which i always took.

A toxic workplace a unsafe workplace management don't listen to their employees injured employees get treated like outsiders and even if you worked at minto warehouse for nearly 20 years they throw them away like rubbish management is Arrogant and unreasonable.  even if an employee is invited to Participate in a workplace risk assessment and put forward safety ideas then to realise management doesn't really care less about employees safety ideas because none of an employee ideas were never implemented all because management didn't like a certain volvo employee's at minto warehouse I saw many incidents over my nearly 20 years their and I can tell you this workplace was terrible employer if you put in a complaint against management you weren't listen to basically your word against management and ever time HR were on management side I still talk to my former co-workers now and things haven't changed 

my job as a storeman was to investigate and fix all the pick errors at all the stations in the truck production line I would get called down to a station and they would tell me the part number that is missing the I would go back to the warehouse find the part location and then do a cycle count on the missing part and if the count was correct I would  then go back to production and look for the part 9 out of 10 its been put in the wrong trolley or bounced out  on the way done to production or it could have been wrong part put in wrong location and if so I would have to fix this problem strait away so it didn't happen again on the next pick. I learnt a lot at Volvo they also put me through certificate lll in transport and logistics (warehousing and storage).I got on with over 450 people there  It was a stress full job but I enjoy and get great satisfaction solving problems

The days are scheduled with diverse activities, starting with a team meeting. We constantly learn how beneficial internal partnerships, rather than disputes, are for the organization and its departments. In some situations, it's necessary to study the best way to address specific issues, and the company constantly seeks to renew and improve this. The best part of all this is the passion that is born and grows each day in the care and performance of the tasks. When the heart vibrates with the company's results, it demonstrates how engaged the employee is!

What is the best part of working at the company?
The people. However being a casual employee is not. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
As  a casual employee you never know when you leave for the day if you will return the next day. It's too up in the air. Management are not straight up.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
If permanent it's great as a casual not so much.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Enough work some days and other days scrapping for work....sometimes cleaning if no work available.

Early starts
Lots of driving and demonstrating trucks with clients and fleet managers.
Lots of justification of highest cost on the market, due to safety and vehicle economy figures, as well as environmental cleanliness and good fuel economy, plus long service intervals.
Good co-workers, though they often tend to drink too much
Not a good place to join, as they do not value new employees, only the ones that have been aound many years. They have a policy of last in, first out and a revolving door mentality. Also, lazy managers with no new ideas.

i spent over 10 years working for the group and found that whilst in the position and doing your job everybody is happy, but, when it came time to be promoted it was all about the politics not the experience.  cetin managers there like to keep you in a position and promote the less experienced.

Worked in pre delivery got stuck on hubcap changes all day.

 Very negative attitudes from the two older pre delivery technicians and a lot of favouritism in the pre delivery workshop, but the guys in the main shop seemed ok.  

Waste of time for me personally. Management/workshop manager needs people skills. Also noted very low worker morale, workers would often complain about not advancing after working in the shop for years and not being trusted on the job.

Work  Healrh Safety is really concerning

Heavy lifting and safety issue

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is good and pretty standard

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy and tiring. Everybody is focus on themselves. But all the colleagues are really supporting each other

every day had customer contact.
Learning was expected and encouraged with company website exercises.
The hardest part of the job for me was finding the correct job descriptions/number for work carried out on vehicles.
Most enjoyable part of the job was when a vehicle was fixed and i could call the customer to come and collect it.
