A typical day at work consisted of dealing with all types of customer, those that are happy to be there and those that are not. The main learning came from interacting with those customer who where not happy were the challenge was to turn their attitude around and create a long lasting positive experience. The team was friendly and easy to work concisely with. The hardest part of this job was dealing with the pressure of meeting sales kpis, but at the end of the day this pushed me to be better at my job and was also the most enjoyable aspect of the job.

I am currently employed as a Casual Sales Associate with Vodafone Australia. Although I enjoy working for Vodafone, sadly our store has been made redundant due to changes within the company. Working with Vodafone has been a wonderful and educational experience for me and it is very unfortunate that I can no longer continue working for the company. In the short time that I’ve been employed within the company, I have found a love for working in the retail industry and would like to continue on this path to further my chosen career in retail.

My daily work was about solving problems included answering enquiries in the store, promoting new plans to current or new customers, helping customers for the registrations and taking phone calls for any kinds. What I've learnt from Vodafone is when facing angry customers, try to understand their situations and be on their side and help him/her step by step slowly to get the problem solved. No rush. The hardest part of the job is to be very patient no matter what. Good thing is I had a good team, we had a bit of a laugh to reduce our stress sometimes.

we did sales and customer service every including up sale. I learnt how to up-sale to customer and served them with professional information to ensure them with the company brand. the working environment is very good with easy going and chill. The hardest part is to handle with difficulties customers, so we will help them to solve the solution through customer care. The  most enjoy part is to have excellent work life balance.

Do not care about you, nor your plans to progress up the ladder, will always give in to stupid under aged people who didn't know what to do, people will stab you in the back, they you like dirt, and lie directly to your face (The Area Manager, we know who you are), corporate events are pathetic, and they way they reward you is horrible with a small finger food dinner and a blasting from the idiotic higher ups

Vodafone is a huge multinational firm which allowed its employees to expand and grow in any field they wish to progress in. Ranging from customer services at their kiosk/shops to having a high flying corporate living. The opportunities were endless and renumeration packages very attractive.

Working at the good guys was a blast and every day was different.  Going to work and catching up with cheerful staff having morning meetings and having the benefit of interacting with local customers who you got to know on a personal basis made the day beneficial and learning about new technology was a big factor and made customers aware we we clicked on and knew what we were dealing with

Every new day starts with facing new faces, acknowledging customer needs, persisting them to buy the right product, solving customer issues. All are specialised individuals in the team, possessing a can do attitude! They are simply aspirations for the working environment!

It is the perfect time in the market, the products are there, the price point is there and it seems to be doing very well in Sydney. The execution in starting it in Melbourne seems to have just been a downfall. 

Great people though and with time can become great in Vic also
