One of the worst company that I have worked for. Accountants can become engineers and and Street fellow with little communication skills can become project manager. They don't know the meaning of PMP,Prince or Six Sigma. Everyone is a site and protect engineer. Superintendents are mere the name and they don't have any qualifications or decision making skills. Overall this company is for uneducated idiots. One thing I can agree is this company gives opportunities for even street people without proper engineering or relevant degree to become project directors, superintendents and project managers. Full of Overseas people and spoiling the local culture. No background checks preformed.

I was employed by Visionstream for a period of approximately 2 years as a telecommunications technician. During this time, there was a diversity of employment activities which were undertaken throughout NSW.

The work was generally outdoors which I prefer doing and there was a great deal of job satisfaction in rectifying faults and assisting customers. . Although,  at times, the workload could be intense to meet project requirements, it was generally a relaxed supportive working environment with workmates and supervisors.

I would highly recommend a job at Visionstream

the hardest part was explain the required components and route design to the management as they wanted to save money rater than have a good design. and the conflict between different groups in different offices when design the whole  system  than each as part of the system.
The best was that our office was not pigeon holed in to one design style but fluent in many part or the system  and we could see the whole problem instead of the part

Visionstream is full of multicultural project team members where work culture is full of fun, positive attitude and cultural and social activities
We have table tennis provided to have a bit of relax lunch time from all project stress and meditation program and awards program to motivate and appreciate hard work for all project team

I have learned the best team work, desire to achieve project milestones with best quality design and final site built which is the major motivation factor for us.

Learned following
•	Validating and compiling the invoices for billing purposes. 
•	Liaise with Telstra, contractors and sub contractors.
•	Compiling, reconciling, processing and submission of commercial works.
•	Processing contractors and sub contractors invoices.
•	Preparing and reviewing As-Built Documentations and drawing for submission to Telstra using Microsoft Office Suite, Office Outlook, Adobe Professional and Visio.
•	Validating bill of materials against the actual build.
•	Drawing end to end diagram with detailed location of pits, man hole, hauling distance, lead in to premises and splicing details using AutoCAD and Visio.

Making phone calls to clients, site visits, dealing with other departments for information on pricing, etc and trying to work out a wining tender price for utility relocation job. Learnt to understand the complexity of tendering process and how to come up with winning tenders. I easily adopted the management style and was able to work very well with all the departments as well as all the co-workers. The hardest part of the job was to win a tender and the enjoyable part of the job was winning a big tender.

I worked as an analyst there for 4.5 years. The job was challenging but towards the end of my tenure, management were demanding more work to be done above and beyond what staff were paid for. Pay rises in line with additional workload were not approved and discussions were deliberately delayed. 

The most enjoyable part of the job was the good people I work with. Sadly they are all leaving one by one due to lack of care and support from upper management

Visionstream is a good solid company to work for, you know where you stand with your roles and responsibilities. OHS is in the forefront of every task you are required to complete. Visionstream constantly encourages its employees to speak up and stop works if deemed unsafe. it has a lot of systems in place to assist you in your role. Documentation seems a bit repetitive at times, but relatively easy to use.

Managing through tasks and assisting Senior PM to in setting up Milestones as per agreed SOL/Contract.

New Learning about NSN and Huawei equipments.

Helping Teams to maintain a smooth flow of activities to achieve Milestones in timely manner.

Somewhat reasonable

To achieve cost effective workable designs which benefits both customer and service provider.

Get together at fin places.

Visionstream is very fast pace organisation and very competitive. The Critical Infrastructure team specializes in design, supply, install, testing and commissioning of mission critical power systems.   Customer satisfaction is a top priority. 
Grate team work and the line managers are always there to provide guidance and assistance to maximize productivity.
