Community Services Dept Management - poor leadership, Nepotistic selection of friends/close associates to key roles resulting in bias and inability to address significant performance/behavioural problems towards other staff and students, Unsafe working environment where teaching staff are afraid to voice disagreement or call out unethical behaviour of key roles within the dept, Appalling lack of insight into problems with team morale and how management practices cause this

There were a few switched on people within the different departments that were good to work with and could obtain the right information to questions asked. As with any organisation there are plenty of "professional seat warmers" those that just do the bare minimum of their job requirements, as to why they are there goes beyond any sound explanation. And then there is the small group of professional colleagues that could outwit, outplay and run circles around the others that are genuinely passionate.

Immediate managers and team are supportive but there is a clear difference between tafe staff and higher education staff in terms of remuneration. It seems many experience low job satisfaction.  Most doing more work than they can handle. 

Had a lot of personal growth in the team, there were many opportunities to increase my skills in my interest areas.  Family-friendly and flexible arrangements.

Great people but lots of disorganisation. People doing the job of five people. Lots of bosses employing their kids over qualified people. The campus is nice.

I had a great team of Teachers that all worked very hard, and put in extra hours to help the students. They made feel so very welcome and were passionate about the students future.

all staff are taking fair workload. the working environment is very warm-welcoming like family day care. ratio is always guaranteed so children there are happy.

with no job security, we all must move on as it mainly provides for sessional work. Typical day is great, awesome students, friendly staff and fair resources.
