Verifact was a great place to work the office people were very friendly and easy to work with. I spent most of the day Drawing traffic management plans and inspecting other drawers work before release to Clients/Councils/TMR  and also ensuring the smooth delivery of traffic control permits to clients.I learned how to prioritise my work load for each day ensuring clients were not waiting for plans/permits. I had other drawers working for me good so communication with them was very important.

a typical day would be setting up traffic control signage and controlling traffic with a stop /slow sign 
learnt to work with a small group or large group depending on the job size
management seemed good to get along with 
workplace culture seemed of working with different types of people
hardest part of the job was probly dealing with the weather being to hot  or to winding working outside all the time
most enjoyable part of the job was probly getting a good lot  hours a week when you could

A very different workplace experience for me. It's a job of extremes either boringly dull or full on all day. Each takes you to a new work site which is a positive. Overall I can only describe it as different.

They recruit a large number of people to cover the busy times, all on casual contracts.  When times are lean, there is not enough work to go around so the casual staff get 1 or 2 shifts per week.

The scheduling system only tells the employees the afternoon before if, when and where they will be working.  This leaves little time to plan.

Things getting promised and nothing happened.management only worried about buiseness not their workers .ute drivers have to pick signs from depots on gold coast and dont get paid for the time they travell.and half the people the stand on the road got no idea what they doing.they hire anyone.

If you work in the TC industry  then you know it's  just another company. Your only a number, and there's no guarantee in the hrs you will actually get

traffic controll , setting up work sits making sure its safe for the workers.
abode to any cultural needs that arise.
keeping angry people  calm if they have to wait to long
working with fun people as this helps the day go quicker

Verifact is a great fast paced employer where you are not just a number. Work life balanced is offered. There is also a supportive team environment and everyone works together to get the job done.

Love my job and enjoy the work culture and people I work with.
I have learned different skills and enjoy helping out where needed.

I worked with Tass in Melbourne for a short period of time and he was such a lovely boss to work for.
Unfortunately, the travel to the city was too much for me so I had to resign but he made my time there fun & enjoyable.
