What is the best part of working at the company?
I would not recommend working with this company. The team members I encountered were extremely egocentric and self-focused, which made collaboration very difficult. Overall, the company does not conduct itself in a friendly or professional manner toward its employees. Higher management, in particular, displayed an inflated sense of ego and showed little respect for their employee base. My experience here was disappointing, and I would caution others before considering employment with this organization.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day at the company can be quite stressful. Tasks often need to be completed under pressure, with little support or guidance from management. Interactions with some team members can be challenging due to a self-centered work culture, and decisions from higher management sometimes feel egocentric and dismissive of employee input. Overall, the day-to-day experience can feel tense and uncollaborative.

I would spend most days sorting and putting away pellets. I hadn't driven forklift in a few years but the staff gave me a chance and within few hours I was back to my best. So thankyou for the opportunity Vellex. I found management friendly but absolutely clueless on what was really happening there  I found the culture a little clicky at first but found my way. The hardest part of the job for me was management not listening at what's being screamed in front of them. Also , leaving was hard for me, I did enjoy my work there. The most enjoyable part of the job was the people there, some of whom I still miss. Mumma.

There isn’t a lot of organisation so there’s not much to say that’s positive

Management  push Fukushima to fatigue expect between 10 and 12 hrs everyday and no safety

Work environment is very stressful and hostile from office staff they don’t appreciate drivers

Stressful and  demanding drains you mentally and physically

They are the dumbest transport organisation i have ever known Work culture very poor Rude drivers & supervisor & leading hands just no organisation Queensland depot is the oldest building in Qld The do Bunnings work majority and some general freight Trucks are old and dirty inside and out 
They will employ anyone as no one stays that long unless you are no good and unable to get work elsewhere A good transit lounge until something else comes along 

Great on paper, working there is a different story. 
Always jobs going, because no-one stays.  Treated like a dog, pushed well over the limit. If you complain about being overworked, your job is threatened.
Only matter of time before a major incident occurs due to being pushed so hard.
Bad treatment from management. Drivers beware. Dogs life

If you're offered a job there, take it but keep other options open. As a forklift driver you were expected to work 5 or 6 hours without a 10 rest pause and expected to work until the job is finished. No time management nor team planning. 

It wasnt the best job and the had plenty overtime but we were only paid flat rate so it was abit poor for such a well known company in aus, managment hardly knew what they were doing half the time , and we pretty much had to figure it out on our own , floor team was no problem at all 

good place to work with excellent work colleagues.always had help with anything if you needed it.Best part of the job was the fun and banter with workmates but never forgetting you had a job to do and to do it as quick and safe as possible.

Busy warehouse but good operation. Managers are easy to talk to but needs to spend more time with drivers and forklift drivers. 

Lots of training and finished a traineeship with them. 

Teammates are fun and work well together.

Working at Vellex is definitely a positive one.  Collaborative, inclusive with good work life balance. Management is great to deal with and are fair. I enjoy working with Vellex and the people within it.
