Unprofessional managers, lack of marketing, there's a favouritism in this job and a lot of things that not really good in the place

You already gave them a heads up that your not available and still roster on the day that you are not available. 

They only appreciate those people who are willing to get abuse by their poor management. 

The only good thing in this place is their staff and thats it.

Kitchen is literally disgusting and containers of the food are stinky. 

If you're sick and unavailable, you have to look for someone to cover your shift, when it suppose to be the Manager. Its called Manager but they are so bad at managing. 

Their work culture their is not to be a leader, they are just a boss with their phones most of the time while customer waiting for their food.


Also, they cancel shift. 
Weekly shift is so inconsistent, you dont know when will be your rest day but it depends if you are the favourite. 

Loved the place when I started, but just like everyone else there over time I came to resent the management and sit around talking about how bad working there was. Blatant favouritism and neglect, disgusting youth salaries for anyone under 18 and barely improves after, no penalty or casual rates despite numerous front of house staff having 1 or 2 three hour shifts a week. No support from managers except 2 or 3 depending on their mood. Constant ridicule from managers in all stations, especially pasta. Would not recommend working here.

It is a company that used to care about it's workers. Now they don't see them more them a number in a spreadsheet. Also: you won't work enough hours to pay your rent :) . So I would advise thinking twice before making this your MAIN job, it is fine as a secondary work.
Since there is a lot of people exiting Vapiano every month, it will be very easy to have this job.

Working at Vapiano doesn’t feel a burden at all. Because I am enjoying cooking pasta and serving customers every time I work. Kitchen team and FOH team are very supportive of each other. 

The Vapiano family are lovely and welcoming, making the restaurant a fun place to work. Very good opportunities to learn hospitality skills as they will train you in any area. - Pasta, Pizza, Bartending, Waiting ect. I've only been working here for just over a year now and have gained so much experience! 



Vapiano is in general a great environment to work for. The managers are not so skilled, making daily tasks a bit messy. The wages are quite average in the  market and there's a small chance to get promotions.

I got a lot of lesson from management team, they teach me to be a better person and be greater. They teach me how to cook pasta in the right way. But the cons is sometime the management is to stressful.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The people are nice and friendly. Good environment for work. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
As a Front of house Leader on Fridays and Saturdays.

A place where you can having fun while you are doing your job. The job is not that hard but requires your full attention and dedication. However, the salary is not that great for a world-known restaurant.
