Worked shift 10am to 6pm, the last two hours on my own as it was my responsibility to shut down and lock up. Busy workplace serving 800-1000 customers at lunchtime. Worked as a team, usually about 7 or 8 preparing food for service,serving hot food, made to order sandwiches, cash handling, restocking, cleaning etc. I learned a lot about interpersonal skills and problem solving when working in a busy environment and dealing with various personalities of both fellow team members and customers. I also learned a lot about workplace safety. Management was very pro-active and supportive and I looked forward to working with my co-workers each day, some of whom became and still are good friends.The hardest part of the job was probably the physical environment in summer as it could get very hot, especially in the kitchens and serving at the bain marie. The most enjoyable part of the job was the people I worked with and served, particularly when I could go that extra distance to deliver exactly what the customer wanted.

Conduct research where required and compile various Reports for distribution to key stakeholders. Preparation and review of miscellaneous background documents and correspondence as required.

During the high profile project at UTS, worth $1.7 billion, there were conflicting priorities and pressures and I would need to determine their importance and the impact on other projects and any inter-dependencies.

This involved having to rearrange projects with priority to meet specific deadlines. Resolving conflict with discretion and diplomacy is paramount when dealing with several personalities, in order to keep projects on schedule and team morale high.

A typical day at work consist of interacting with UTS alumni and getting to know them more and getting overall feedback from them. I have learnt how to deal with complaints, rejection and also getting the alumni to contribute to the university. My co-workers are very supportive and they would lend a helping hand whenever any of us needed assistance. The hardest part of the job is to deal with disputes but that has made me a more understanding and patient person. The most enjoyable part of the job is the active communication that I had with my co-workers and the UTS alumni.

I met the team, we were talking about how to share the competencies among the team members, each team member was conducting research and working on his tasks. Every week we used to have a general meeting to inform everyone about working progresses and to collect and discuss ideas about the strategic plan.

The meetings are held at certain time periods in a year, most of the times its in between 8-10 review meetings. 
Generally, In the meetings debates are held and the contribution by each council member is used for decision-making regarding the finances, administration and strategic vision of the University.

I can work at any time for the whole week from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm
I have experience of 23 years as Lecturer in Iraq. I love teaching and I think I am able to teach people of any range of age.
If I love my job nothing will be hard to me, and the most enjoyable part of the job is communication with people and help them to achieve their goals that they are study for.

Learnt
- limitation of currently used chemical in water treatment
- encouraged to develop new effective chemical and modify the current method and practices for better outcome
- learnt programing language such as X-RAFT for stormwater and 'R' language for data handling and analysis

was a great company and would recommend to anyone who is passionate about the security industry and wanting an exciting and challenge work environment. A typical day might include responding to threats and doing routine patrols of the facility.

My role is varied, which allows me to liaise and work with all levels of staff, within the Faculty and University.
I work well with my team and iundependently. We all get along so well and everyone is always willing to help each other
