What I Learned
I developed strong communication skills, learned to manage stress in heavy traffic, and improved my knowledge of city routes. I also gained insights into customer service and conflict resolution.

Meeting new people, exploring the city, and having the freedom to choose my schedule. I enjoy providing excellent service and receiving positive feedback from passengers.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Working the hours you want. Meeting a diverse range of people.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Getting taxed too much. Uber tax around 20%! Government takes 10%Gst and 20% Tax. In total around 50% goes to tax, then add expenses

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The company are slow to remedy situations. Not enough communication between drivers and passengers if items are left in the vehicle. Company won't let people have direct numbers. Makes it difficult to return items. A flawed process. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Driving until I get a ride from my app. Sometimes I could be waiting an hour or two or even 3 hours to get a ride. Sometimes I get a good run of customers. Depends on the day, how many uber drivers are out there and how many customers there are

Flexibility, and reliable payments, also the satisfaction to be back up by a multinational business serving people worldwide. Our business to serve common people to move anywhere anytime. Our boss... Anyone moving around. Great!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Uncertainties of destination, fluctuation of demands, high price of petrol and car maintenance. the reckless careless passenger abusing of the system at night ( bad behaviour)

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy and enjoying, my own rules and the road rules apply all the time

Avoid this company at all costs. If I could give zero stars I would. Sales management are bullies and caused huge amounts of stress. No trust between yourself and managers. The job is easy- the management are some of the worst people I have ever been unfortunate enough to be around. Management are manipulative and sneaky- do not trust them. The company employ external staff so that when they inevitably get rid of them, they have no rights. Biggest turnover in staff I had ever seen. I was on holiday and they sacked 6 people. A further two people were sacked in subsequent weeks. Not worth the time or stress I guarantee you are worth more.

There is no money to be earned with uber they take 27.5 % of the fare then you have to pay 10% of what's left to gst from day one
With fuel prices just about doubling tyers going up service fees rising if you lucky you may take 12$ an hour and then there's the time when your car has very high miles and you need a new one
Take my advice do something else uber do not give a stuff about drivers or customers just bottom line 
You will pay out over 1000 to get going uber will give you good jobs for the first 2 months then you will start to realise your earning nothing you will try and persevere but then realise its not viable then uber just gets another mug

Toxic management, unrealistically KPI, lack of training and development sources, working over time but not paid even in public holiday.

Hierarchical structure, where the companies value is no hierarchicy of all line of business 
.

Toxic, gossip, bullying on work chat and just the environment is not a vibe

Call, document details, meetings and set a priority

If you are unemployed or you want to make extra money working on the weekends it's ok. Some considerations: You will earn 32-33 dollars per hour average during the week, Saturday and Sunday could be more than 40. BUT you need to pay 10% of this for tax business, Petrol, car insurance, car devaluation, clean your car everyday, no bathroom, flexible job is not true, you will work for the demand, You could finish your work far away, you must be alert all the time, do the taxes is not easy..., Be careful if some vomit your car you won't be able to work in 3 days... The smell could be super strong. 
You are not working for a company, you are just giving them 27% of the payments.

The job itself is flexible and easy to do. It can get stressful sometimes. You get to meet people and know people after a while. The only thing I would like to see improve are the rates. The rates are very poor for the mileage they expect us to do. If your on a scooter or motorbike, then its not so bad but for Car drivers, its nor worth the effort as you use more fuel for long distance trips and then you wll want to return to where your comfortable working.

If you enjoy freedom, this is the job you’re looking for. However, you need to choose the right location, and the opportunities will come your way.

But it’s not suitable for me because I prefer jobs with time pressure. I find it hard to drag myself out of the house since I can work whenever I want. As a result, I often miss my own set goals and end up not going to work at all, wasting the entire day staying at home.

As for the pay, it’s average—not bad. If you’re diligent and manage to find the right path with good earning potential, you’d be very fortunate.
