As I worked out of an external office (district resident rep, working from home 4 of 5 days/week) I would check all incoming emails needed for reply. Next I would attend to any o/standing quotations and follow ups. Leave my premises to make a specific call cycle for the day, attending to telephone calls as I go. Should a particular client require assistance in any way, I would attend to as soon as possible dependant upon that customers' level of urgency.
I learned to manage all types of customers and their perculiar needs, some were easygoing, others were not so. All customers were important to me.
As a 'middle-management' employee/staff member, I had some input in some decisions, however, most were handled by my manager, but he nearly always included me in his train of thought.
Co-workers were the lifeblood of the company and no rep could operate efficiently without thm and their input.
I enjoyed all aspects of my work and would be hard-pressed to single out a particular part, if any, there would be the late evenings completing urgent tenders/quotations for submitting to customers.
Customer contact was by far the most enjoyable part of the job as many 'friendships' were formed during this time.

Awesome team to work with and the clients are also enjoyable

Most stressful thing was sometimes it took a little longer to get answers

Culture was good. Office and warehouse got alomg

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Seeing customers to see what help that is needed present or whatever is coming up for them

Working at Ullrich Aluminium was a good experience for me. I have learned new things to improve my welding and also my working skills. I have managed to finshed all the task because of the help of the people ive worked with. And the hardest part of the job is when you make a mistake and you have to go up to the office to see the Boss, but the most enjoyable part of the job is when you get to do new things.

Would be a great place to work if they paid a reasonable rate and appreciated the workers who work and put in %100 not the admin girl who does NOTHING gets paid more , non experience and full of itself, owners /owners son/boss is a great bloke and very down to earth and supportive ,if only he knew who really is who and what they do

not much... low wages  bad managers

everyday was a nightmare. bas organisation

environment pretty good ... had its ups and downs

worked hard... not recognised for that.

Overall a great place to work. Not a lot of options for advancement due to high retention rate depending on the geological area and role. Very good exposure to aluminium industry with the opportunity to learn a lot about the products.

Very little training, sometimes I do the job of more than one person, no communication with anyone who works here. Very frustrating place to work for honestly not worth the money. I was hopeful when I first started here but I have lost hope the longer I am here and I feel burnt out, too much over time I was told it would be a 8-5 job.

Bad behavior is rewarded. Management negative to positive changes and advancement in warehouse structures and procedures. Unrealistic delivery demands on drivers. Poor Attitude towards me from management when l advised them of my resignation.

Follow up on how orders for customers were. Liaising with sales reps and then with warehouse and the manufacturing section. Dealing with customers about orders and complaints etc

Long hours,  low pay, unexpeireanced boss,  very packed in warehouse,  lack of customer parking,  lack of PPE, incorrect truck for the type of deliveries,
