Demonstrated as a highly focused and reliable ,Maintenance Fitter, Machine operator, Team Leader, Project Coordinator with strong attention to detail and an excellent customer service record, I am an adept multi tasker able to handle simultaneous Trouble shooting, Fault finding, repair and service tasks with speed and accuracy. With flexible scheduling availability to include evenings and emergency situations as required, I offer a unique set of skills and capabilities gained through working in intense pressurised and demanding environments for an industry leader where I embraced business growth and organisational change. No training or onboarding provided - just dumped at your desk alone and expected to figure it out. Not even a welcome pack. No email etiquette - extremely rude and abrupt communication by everyone. Everyone wants everything NOW - no concept of realistic expectations. Workload was extreme and they just keep loading you up, no care given if you are already burnt out. Inflexible - expected to work around the clock, working from home strongly discouraged. Not family friendly. Everything needs 6 layers of approval, stifling and demoralising. No learning opportunities. Not valued, just treated like a mail forwarding service or dumping ground for everyone who is too lazy to look up the answers themselves. No recognition at all, the awards program is a joke - a 2 second powerpoint slide with a name on it is the extent of their reward - no awards night or prize for your hard work. Not one Thank you. No social events. No joy of any kind there. Soulless and demanding workplace.

Plan the daily duties of each crane,and also the crane operators and rigger dogman to work each crane. Manage the structural and rigging supervisors and help to reach and hit construction targets and milestones. Planning, scheduling every day activities.Daily meeting with the client to discuss S.I.M.O.P.S. and any interface issues with all the different companies and trades working in the same area's.
I learned more about the companies procedures and expectations.
Management works well with the blue collar workers.
My co workers are mostly very experienced and great to work.
Doing the four weeks rosta on is very hard, if it were three weeks on and one week off it would be the perfect job.
Completing tasks and hitting construction targets and milestones with no lost time injuries and with very low incidents and accidents.

With such a diverse range of professionals, there was something new to learn everyday, whether it be work related or personal. There was a large range of different teams and processes within the project and daily interfaces were required. 
Management were clear and concise about required targets to be met and the reasoning, if required, behind them. 
The general note within the teams was an ambition to complete the project as efficiently as possible.
The most difficult part of the day was time management, as there were regular meetings and several tasks to be completed on a daily basis. 
The most enjoyable part of my role was a feeling of accomplishment once a deadline had been met both effectively and efficiently.

We get all the parts to assembly the valves.

Learned to assemble 100% accuracy first time.

Inspect all the important parts to the drawings and then continue assembly, so that no time wasted in dismantling faulty products.
Management was supportive in fixing any issues with parts.

We work in teams to the product to meet the customer demand.

Few  critical parts should be kept in special containers not to damage the contact area to avoid leaks. This is taken care by high level of house keeping.

When i get the appreciation from customer for the quality of the product.

UGL is an excellent place to work. Yes the work is demanding and during bids things can get a little hectic, but there is a definite collegiate atmosphere about the place where everyone works together through the tough times to ensure no-one is left behind. Over the past 12 months management changes, have definitely improved morale and the new MD is without doubt one of the best leaders that I have had the pleasure of working for!! 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Very toxic and accusing environment.  Don't do it. If you're not in the click you're not in.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There is no support or encouragement from upper management from supervisors up to the top.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
A very clicky Toxic culture which in my opinion seemed to be endorsed by the upper superiors

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Go to work start off happy but drag down pretty quick. It may be different now as this was pre covid

What is the best part of working at the company?
The other workers. At least they don’t lie and collude and strong arm each other, unlike UGL management.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Never knowing what the real story is with contracts and EA's. 
Constantly being promised the world while cutting rates and conditions.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic when it comes to management. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Walking on egg shells so that you werent sacked just for questioning their employee relation practices.
