the top management have there head in the clouds. Their communication with the workers on the ground is very poor often bringing in procedures without consultation and then try to modify on the run, Often shifts are 5 hours or 4.5 hours without time for a toilet stop. The turnaround times are too tight at the peek times and most shifts are broken. They will not back the worker over health and safety concerns and the reports don't get answered. They review the cameras on the bus just to try and find fault with you and not to improve your service to the customers. Your every move is being watched on cameras on the bus and your driving is monitored by Green roads, if you break too hard to avoid an accident then you have to note it down time and location because management will ask you some time after you have forgotten what happened this day. The admin people seem to be at war with everyone and the staff turnover is very high, more than 2000 drivers in 5 years and that was before they took over area 6. Management on the ground is different they do there best but upstairs is a black whole. Bus driving in NSW used to be a very hard job to get into full time drivers liked their job and stayed with one company for a long time but, since TSA came its line up line up we want drivers and then your gone because you spoke up about other drivers rights and the TWU just sat on its hands as far as I am concerned. I was a bus driver for 14 years and got awards for my customer service but if you raise your head your gone.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The bus industry has become worse. I would like to advise everyone—if you can do something better, don’t become a bus driver. It will ruin your future and family life. There is no growth in this field, and it will severely affect your mental health. The bus industry is now completely business-oriented and no longer focused on serving the community.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Tight schedule ..hard to run ontime and public always upset with drivers..brokenshift no overtime and can not do other job as well..

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very frostrating ..no growth always same task..some depos manager's so rude..no respect for busdriver 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Always rush and panic ..not single shift is good..and they are focusing old or well known eachother that makes little bit unfair as well..

Everyday defers and is a good challenge to test my skills with customers , traffic, motorists , cyclists , pedestrians and heavy vechicles on narrow roads like Parramatta Road. From this learned to be calm, friendly, cautious , courteous and patience,

The best part of the day is when we get back to the depot and have a laugh and discuss about our weekends.We also play indoor sports such as pool , table tennis and watch movies.

I also like to help new drivers in regards to there shifts that is which way to get to the start off points.

All drivers and management staff are really helpful which makes your day favourable,

We also got institute which looks after the indoor entertainment , gym and occasionally we have BBQ at the depot.

Worst management I have ever worked for, refuse to fix serious issues affecting drivers on a daily basis, would rather drivers leave then fix issues so they get more funding from the government to train new people. Putting drivers and passengers lives in danger by making drivers take unsafe buses on the road.

In the friendly and fairly inviting people and with admiration and respect for the people. I think it’s my fault for resigned from this job and I regret that did it. I would like to get back to my job at the moment at Burwood. I have lots of friends there.

I had a good time with the drivers its good to get to no people that you work with
otherwise it was just work and home for me
the shifts that I did at Burwood were broken shifts most of the time which means that you can be on a 12 hour spread and just get paid 8 hours if thats what your work time was

A bationaly company juat making it in Victoria plans to expand which causes a few issues aa have too many drivers however ate building a new depot and agter more contracts thst issue should a-bait  overall was a decent experience depending on what runs you do 

The HR department are in a hurry to fill positions and cutting corners in the process. Management are busy cutting costs and in the process not supplying adequate trainers or training facilities 

Always room for improvement in all aspects of the business. Maintenance outstanding performance due to responsibilities and pressure placed on team.
