I was know as the "floater" i was taught abit of everyones role at Toxfree Karratha as either extra help for end of month or if someone was ill or on leave.
My co-workers were amazing!! we all worked really hard but close like a family! really really loved my time and experience at Toxfree.

Was always learning new skills everyday!

Im very hard on myself to always achieve the best and challenge myself so to me their wasnt ever a hard "moment" it was just consistent drive to always produce high standard of work and customer service!

Everyday was enjoyable!

Very fast moving and exciting place with forever changing role.  Fun place and like minded people with high motivation and goals set in place and continued support from some high end management.  

I had a great deal of time for this company and they were always up for training and progressing careers further.  I have learned that it is important to be yourself and believe that you can master any part of your role.  Being calm and communicating at great lengths is the key   to completing any task efficiently and effectively.

Hardest part trying to keep up with fast moving pace with changing circumstances and many requests.

Co-workers were great people and always supportive of most issues.

Best part of the role dealing with many different people and supporting them in there situations that needed resolving.

typical day at work was everything from cold calls providing quotes and solutions for the companies clients to Managing each account developing a sound business relationship to develop more waste streams and revenue I work with a fantastic team of professionals who all worked together to get the job done.
The hardest part of the job was looking at Customers waste to better understand they type of waste. Basically Sometimes you need a strong stomach.
The most enjoyable part is working with some great people and making lots of contacts

Now working out of Brisbane yard it is a 4am wake up usually, with getting to work at 6am and checking over the truck before heading to site. once at site we fill out JSA and other safety procedure cards before beginning the work our client has given us. we pride ourselves on getting the jobs done i don't leave jobs with an unhappy client i do everything i can to complete the task. Once work is done round 530pm i head back to the yard to wash the truck out and equipment down then head back to the Gold coast from brisbane about 7pm. Which makes for long days but are use to them now.

A busy office attending to phone calls and email enquiries to arrange various waste collections.
I learnt how to use NAV 13, differnt ways of invoicing and the intricate details of waste.
Everyone who worked at the Narangba site were kind and friendly and got on with each other. 
When systems were in place every department worked well together.

start at depot at various times from 5am to 8am. jump in truck and head out to that job for the day .
I learned how to operate vac trucks , drain cleaning and digging with water.
We had some great co workers that you could rely on to get the job done safely.
the hardest part of the job was not knowing what time you will start of finish.
The most enjoyable part was traveling around to new places and meeting new people

bz in the dayshift lots of work but its worth it especially payday i learned additional things too like some job for a high pressure washer and drying system on pipe or spool co-workers all good they are all friendly a little bit hard on part of the job when your shift changed from dayshift to nightshift i enjoyed my job being a storeman and at the same time labourer / mechanic

-Job was dangerous so team work was strong. 
-Learned how to hydro blast and the fundamentals of a vac truck.
-Management were strong on safety and getting us home after work. 
-Hardest part of the job would have been the long hours doing 12 hour shifts. 
-The money and the shifts were the most enjoyable part of the job.

Great team, lot of new experience, long hours.

I learned lot new tricks how to water jet and use Vac truck, co workers were always really helpful. Work site and conditions were really safe. All PPE was provided

In my time at Toxfree my duties included dismantling electronic devices and sorting their parts. I was also involved in unloading shipping containers, as well as maintaining a safe working environment.
