I was a contract bread distributor,the company started off great,with good rates,work 7 days, but every year the rates dropped.we started in 2011 delivering 14000 units per week 7 days earning approx $4500 gross,5 years later we were delivering 33000 units and only grossing $3500 per 7 days my wife and I felt that Tip Top didn't appreciate the work that we put in to the run.Their cost model was the more VOLUME the LOWER the RATE,To me this cost model didn't give any incentive to improve our service  to Tip Tops customers.Those distributors that just went through the motions and had no motivation still earned the same as us because their rate was higher to fit the cost model and lower units delivered.My wife and I left Tip Top with our heads high knowing that we gave 100% ,We honored our 5 year contractual agreement,The final insult was that because our truck was now free hold they wanted to take the $250 that we no longer needed for repayments off their cost model.

Could b very hectic at times when its hot. I learned how the hotcakes are packed into bags & how to weigh & use a tagging machine for its use by date. Management & bosses are excellent people to get on with(in packaging area) Some co workers make you laugh others dont ask. The hardest part of the job is learning from beginning. they wil teach you but the line just keeps running & theres no slow or stop buttons.After a couple of days it gets better. the most enjoyable part of the job is you get to sit down all day

Challenging times ahead of us and a lot of old changes should be an exciting place to work it if you have the right skills 
Lost of roster changes and looking at building a safe and clean as you go cultured team on site 
Hard part is that we turn over a lot of people though out the year so training is a must

absolutely disgusting behaviour from full time employees 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
communication and lazy full time staffs whi think casual staff getting paid more so need to work harder 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
nothing and bad day. mostly everyday

Excellent pay. Job can be stressful/physical at times but manageable. Overtime available but not compulsory. Not much room for career progression. Hours can be hard being that it is a bakery but overall it is a good place to work.

Completing deliveries in and around the Canberra and Queanbeyan areas in the beginning and the progressed to be a interstate driver servicing the depots and distribution hubs in Orange, Bathurst, Snowy Mountains and South Coast locations.

Would go back if asked. Absolutely great friendly staff and loved working with different cultures. Work was abit overwhelming some days but made it to the end of every shift.

It was fast paced and physical work, dragging dolly's full of bread up and down lines of stores distributing loaves as requested by shops. A basic picking orders job, inclusive with all bread products such as muffins, cakes, crumpets and yiros products.

I worked for them for 17 years , we are family really ....
Than I resigned went to finish of my degree and upgrade my skills... People friendly easy free bread or any other products to take home on daily finishings... Yes I would recommend this place to anyone.

every day you need to work safety 
can learn about the machine from the beginning of the making process to the end of packing
management is good 
the hardest park is oven area very hot and little big very hard
