I worked in the Brendale office and my experience wasn't great. 

It's not a team effort, different departments work against each other instead of together.

No proper learning provided, you get handed a book to get an understanding of the industry. 

Support from management to succeed was poor.

Way to many unnecessary and useless meetings. 

You're not provided with proper tools of trade which are vital in your success. A multi million company is unwilling to spend a couple hundred dollars for success.

They put on team events like sausage sizzles  and have regular free cakes etc.



A typical day to day style of work at Timbertruss would be going in and starting the day strong, smashing out all the left over work from the day before and going above and beyond the days target. Building walls is a tough job but with the right mental attitude and physical ability to both lift and nail pieces of timber together, the job becomes a piece of cake. The most enjoyable part of the job is the realization of completing your objective and then starting on the next days work only to finish it and start the work for the day after that.

Management have no respect and do not value their employees. There is very high turnover, and unmanageable workloads. Management feel that all employees are replaceable, and show favouritism to those that suck up, and are usually the most incompetent.

At timber truss you get to learn many things such as using heavy machinery and you gain alot of safety experience operating heavy machines. You also get to have an experience of a hands on job. Also get to gain more skills in the workshop like not only safety but other skills like communication skills and teamwork skills.

My time at Timbertruss has been great, manager's always look out for you and provide extensive training. I started with no previous experience but the team were really helpful in guiding me. I work with a good group of people too

Nothing good to say about maintenance at Timbertruss. Work is done while machinery is still at work. Consulting with management to get machines to do checks is a challenge.

A great place to work. The managers are supportive and approachable. Full training is provided.

The work is reliable and Timbertruss continued to operate during the COVID-19 pandemic, which was a relief to my family.

having no experience previously in this field of work I was provided with full training and within months found myself moving up company ranks and furthering my skills throughout factory

I worked at the company as a trainee for four months. I found that despite entering a new industry with zero experience, i was well supported and found myself enjoying my interactions with co-workers as well as feeling confident in my growing skills.

Great environment and  people when working 
Management was pretty good 
Supervisors could be alot better and can show alot more respect towards newbies and everyone
