The work there was hard and it was not really possible to get in contact with the other people exact for the 30 minute break. It was hard in the beginning to get used to the chemicals but you get used to it really fast and got faster and more accurate from day to day. Otherwise the payment was good and always on point. The management was nice and you even got a Christmas present. In the beginning it will be hard to work till 11pm.

Early starts at 4am six days a week. I learnt how to pack product slice product and cryvac product. Then was promoted to quality assurance officer where I learnt the running of the whole plant my co workers where always very pleasant and easy to work with the hardest part of the job was the slaughter floor process. I enjoyed finding where something was going wrong and fixing it to make the company more productive.

work with great bunch of people, very physical work wise but got use to it eventually but overall enjoyed my time.
was happy with the management they dealt things in appropriate manner, hardest part was when I started boning and hadn't used a knife at all before but at the end I learnt from other people how to use n maintain my knife to make my job easier. by the end I had become a senior worker and was teaching other people which was satisfying.

Enjoyed my time as I was gained new skills and had great support from my supervisor and my Leader Hand and my co workers. I was able to show and perform that I was capable of working unsupervised and to carry out my tasks 100% everyday and was always available to work long hours and do different variety of jobs.

A normal day at work i would start at around 6am untill 4-5pm int the afternoon. i learned how to sharpen knifes, cut meat, clean. we have breaks nearly every hour cause work is pretty full on i didnt mind working there at all. the best part about the job though was pay days.

Loved Loved Loved this company was an eye opener coming from the general Office Clerk I had a great chance of opportunity to learn and grow with the company for the best of it. met the friendliest of people as well

it was good hard work i was just a labourer income was great and working as a team was great to although hours were very long 10hr days 4 to 5 days a week this is one of the reason i left im looking for a labourer job that will make me work hard and keep me on my feet

start at 6.00 am be on time the chain does not stop for any one . Supervisors are fair . most off the people are easy to get along with . hardest part of the job would have to be big bull .most enjoyable boning loins and 3.30 pm

Not the nicest of jobs to do, it’s hot, there’s lots of meat & blood, but the people are great & the company looks after you, they also offer a great social club

I worked for borthwicks for close to 4 years. i didnt really like it there but the people were nice to work with. I didnt get put on a knife job and they kept me as a floor boy for most of the time that is most of the reason for my leaving.
