The first job would  be to conduct alcohol testing on a work group the assist the group to conduct prestart stretching exercises, Then visit work groups and ensure compliance to site rules.Assist in the investigation of all site incidents and recommend any changes required.. Conduct all site inductions for all new employees and other contractors. The hardest part of this job was, It was slowing down and work crews were being demobbed which meant a reduction of work for us. The most enjoyable part of this job was the safety team were a real team and a pleasure to work with.

I made a small fortune like everyone involved only difference is i worked while most blokes stood around trying to retire there ,it was heart breaking  to watch blokes would just stand there and watch another  mans busting  his butt!!!!
it was the best money in the world but i could not handle it after nearly 2 yrs of constantly carrying lazy slack people i quite the desalination
 and went and drove the old mans scraper doing farmers dams and sand pits.

Working at Wheatstone for Thiess has provided an insight into the Oil and Gas industry as a whole and been a very valuable experience, particularly from a safety point of view. The camp and amenities have been great and the workplace a safe environment. The management from the client through to Thiess' own management are easy to get along with and helpful. There has been no aspect of the job that could be considered hard as far as skills base goes. The most enjoyable aspect would be the crew we have had here.

My job was internal grouting and painting of the pipeline.Which at times also involved dewatering and cleaning.I had a crew of 10 men .
2 men mixing 1 spotting 6 grouting and 1painting.
We were in total darness apart from our headlights and it was at times a very unpleasant and hazardous environment But we came through the project with no damage to life or limb and achieved the feat of grouting and painting 80 kms of pipe.

I learned how to sort recyclable materials such as plastics and glass on the sort line a job I had never done before. Most of my co workers were helpful as it took me a while to settle in because I had never done this line of work before. There was no hardest part of the job every job was just as hard as the other. The most enjoyable part of the job was lunch break were I would have a chat and a joke with a few of my  co workers.

getting wall pours ready and pouring concrete.learnt u need the right people for the job which management had a bit to do with that.we had a pretty good crew of workersmost people got along.hardest part of job would have been trying to organise everything as far as gear and products to get the job done. best part of the job was pour days 

Thiess good people employed underground.Needs alot of work in management department.Needs a leader or project manager to lead by example,We have no leader at Leinster.

found the job its self very repetitive and the staff in general not happy, as the saying goes, it's a job. Shortage of staff seems to be an issue. The most enjoyable part of the day...going home

Camp was good, food was better than average, management was not as good as it could have been. Quite ordinary, actually. The job itself certainly wasn't hard, but the people made it quite hard to like the job.

An enjoyable work place with plenty to do to occupy ones self. Good work culture. The company was strict in regards to work safety around the mine site and never pressed any worker beyond their limits.
