The software in use is extremely outdated—reminiscent of 2005–2006 technology. It’s inefficient and overloaded with unnecessary add-ons, resembling an attempt to run a bus on a car engine. There’s no single-window operation; instead, users are forced to navigate multiple windows and functions that should be streamlined.

Auditing features are non-existent. For example, if an invoice is printed and misplaced by warehouse staff, there’s no way to trace it unless a customer complains about non-delivery. This creates serious gaps in accountability.

There is also no mechanism to set delivery priorities for tyres. Some deliveries are delayed by up to 10 days with no explanation. Worse, the system provides no visibility or reason for the delay—resulting in a chaotic and frustrating experience for both staff and customers.

Management is inconsistent—minor mistakes are sometimes blown out of proportion, while major issues are overlooked entirely. Teamwork is virtually non-existent; departments operate in isolation, with no cohesive communication or collaboration.

The inefficiency of the software forces staff to begin their day at 5:00 a.m. and often work until 5:00 p.m., just to compensate for the system’s shortcomings.

There’s also a lack of proper administrative structure. What is referred to as an "administration officer" role is essentially a tele-order taker with limited customer service authority.

Finally, there's a pervasive culture of indifference. At the Tempe location, very few individuals take true ownership of their roles. Problems are often listened to, ignored, and forgotten—creating an environment where accountability and improvement are severely lacking.

The manager is totally under trained in his position uses bullying tactics to try and make himself feel more important then he really is. Trys to Forces drivers to drive over the speed limit and drive unroadworthy trucks and refused to fix any problems that are brought to his attention. He lied about hours you work and the pay rate is a a flat rate and will use stand over tactics to force over time on drivers at the same pay rate. Tempe should be ashamed of the manager and his disgusting management failings.  The guys who are forced to work under him are really good people to work with and that is the only positive thing about it my time there. Absolutely awesome people. If tempe were to change management in there Brisbane store it would be the number 1 place to work and i would not of quit after my trial time.....

I have been working for this company for over a two years now, and I can confidently say that it has been an excellent experience so far. The company has a positive and supportive culture that makes coming to work each day a pleasure. The management team is accessible and approachable, and they genuinely care about their employees' wellbeing and success. 
Overall, I feel fortunate to work for such a great company. The positive culture, commitment to employee development, and dedication to making a difference in the community make it a fantastic place to work. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a fulfilling and rewarding career.

What is the best part of working at the company?
If you’re someone who doesn’t mind sitting down all day on the computer, definitely the job for you!

The job is good overall and pay is somewhat decent, I’m just not a fan of working for family businesses. Things aren’t that professional the hierarchy of the management is weird, if you have an issue with your pay or some sort of situation at work the actual “managers” can’t do anything. Everything has to be contacted to HR is Sydney.

Also including the work culture itself just not a huge fan of how judgmental the staff are. Wouldn’t recognise this job to those who value diversity

Work hours don't go as mentioned on the  job description as advertised, and they inform you on the day of the interview. 
No progression after sometime and you need to talk to the HR for a permanent position after completion of probation.

Customer service and business administration are defined as strictly occupied through various jobs on the desk. 
Sometimes even 9 hours are less and somedays let's you breathe and chat with colleagues around.

Having worked at Tempe Tyres for over a year, I can say that it has been an incredible experience. As a member of the marketing team, I have been given the freedom to express my ideas and work collaboratively with my colleagues. 

One of the most impressive aspects of working at Tempe Tyres has been the work culture. Tempe Tyres fosters a supportive and inclusive work environment that encourages personal and professional growth. Management is always willing to listen to feedback and implement changes that benefit employees and customers alike.

Overall, it is a great place to work with a lot of opportunities to learn and grow.

The worst place I have worked. The working culture is worst everyday you end up going home stressful. No Management at all. You are trained and supposed to do work of 2-3 peoples work in the name of training. Not paid enough for the work you do. No friendly working environment or team work. It was said in the interview that its a team work but after the training I ended up doi ng work of another 2 persons all alone and then I was told that I have to do this because I have to learn. But I didnt learn anything I ended up sick.

No proper management team leaders are favourited of the managment so no point at all. 

Yeah it's a job I understand that. The management is clueless and the on site boss is lazy. A couple years back they asked their employees to give 5 star reviews because no one wanted to join. Any 5 star reviews you see now are from for-lifers who plan to live a tempe tyres for the rest of their lives or people who haven't quit yet.

Hardest part of the job is brown-nosers or the iced-out junkies that seem to litter the building

Most enjoyable part of the day is hiding or clocking off.
