Management at times needed much to be desired as, sometimes it seemed that you'd be better off talking to a brick wall, as anything you said or tried to do to make the Hotel a lot more exciting and welcoming for the guests fell on deaf ears and never got done, as it seemed that cutting costs to make a profit was all that mattered.I understand that the business has to make a profit, but at the expense of the guests walking away with a bad experience isn't what I call good management!

When staff loose trust and confidence in their leadership due to the  attitude of leaders and the effectiveness of initiatives, how you reward and meet the needs of their staff can bring about huge changes very quickly, building a trusted and reliable positive workplace culture. Great leadership is the key to sustained positive cultural change. 

The hardest part of the job, is knowing that your management is more worried about the mighty dollar than the customer service that myself and my coworkers strive to give our guests everyday, it can be quite disheartening at times, knowing that you've given your all and still feel that it wasn't enough. 

The most enjoyable part of the job is when you have a team that all works together to achieve the same outcome everyday, and that is knowing that you've made your guests happy and knowing that they will come back due to the excellent experience that they had during their stay with you. For Me That's Satisfaction!!!

Been an employee at Tresury casino for 10 years+
It use to be an amazing place to work, but things have gone down hill drastically.. The onsite management are amazing and it can be a fun place to work. however the politics of everything, is currently a mess. Conditions continue to get worse and worse. It such an "Us v Them" mentality. where everyone should be on the same team. No one is held accountable and majority of the staff absolutly hate the business as a whole.. I honestly feel sorry for people when they get a job there. For example.  a new school of croupiers came through recently. All were made casual ( which in the past was fine, when i stated i was casual and if i wanted, i could have full time hours).
But some of these people had quit there preveious jobs, and were excited to get started. some of them were quitting only 2 months in because they were being rostered only 2 shifts a fortnight..
Also a recent thing that happend that i hadnt seen in 10 years is, people were being rostered shifts. and then scheduling would ring them up and cancel all of them, not just one.. literally, like 8 shifts out of 8 on there roster.. disgusting..
Hopefully things will change when the new casino goes up.. but at the moment dont go near the place. alllot of people quitting right now

It was productive and fun working at Treasury Casino Hotel, I used to start in late afternoon and I finished in between 10 pm to 12 am. I used to work in Banquets, Mini-Bar and In-room Dinning Service. I've learned a lot in such a way I met different kinds people and it is a multicultural company.The management gave me an opportunity to attend some Training in Coffee Training, Micros/Till Training. My co-worker was very supportive and friendly to me specially when I need a help I can count on them. The hardest part of the job was when the Guest's ask something specific which was not in the List/Menu that we need to provide them or offer them an alternative and at the end of the day still we need to look after them.I really enjoyed working at my previous job. It was Fun, Fast, Friendly, Fresh and Focus Environment.

Busy work environment with a lot of communication from management. Had the opportunity to work both in teams and autonomously. Learned about the work culture in the housekeeping department. Gained much experience in working with people from different cultures. Working in such a physically demanding role is quite challenging. The company provides us with an amazing breakfast and lunch for free.

Treasury Casino has a quite friendly and relaxing working environment, I find it very enjoyable and happy to be part of the team. We always focus on the customer service as the priority and try our best to satisfy the customer's needs.

Good money, a lot of benefits like clean uniforms for every shift, free lunch, discounts for the restaurants or hotels, but bad managment in some of the departments, not support to the employer and no appreciation for good workers.

Working for the Treasury Casino and Hotel provides great progression opportunities, personal development programs and a very supportive workplace. The people that work there are more like family than colleagues.

Shift work rotation 24/7 but generally fair. 

I enjoyed my time working for the company. 

hardest part of the job was the grave yard 23:00- 07:00 shift. 

great benefits, Staff lunch room, full buffet, uniform laundry.

Great team member and a good place if you're a student.  Uniforms, meal on shift are provided and security is best in city.  Top line managers are only interested in their bonuses however and there's a huge disconnect between policy and reality

Great place to start a career, lots of training provided and team engagement is paramount.
Many different departments to learn from and future transfers are easily achievable
