generally, toy world was pretty quiet, other than when it was Christmas time. I stocked/cleaned shelves, worked at the front register, and priced items. I absolutely loved my coworkers, they made working much more enjoyable. it was hard sometimes having to find a product someone was looking for, but it wasn't too bad. I always enjoyed working as I loved my coworkers and I wasn't overworked.

Management was horrible- everyone I talked to at work hated their job and staff turnover is terrible. You are not allowed to take leave in Christmas holidays as a junior casual and at Christmas and January you are stuck in one isle the whole shift and not allowed a water bottle on the floor. If you value your mental health, please DON’T work here!!!

Can sometimes be stressful but worth it! Good if you enjoy customer service and can offer toys to parents. However I did mainly enjoy the cashier role and would sometimes have to spend more time stocking shelves because managers mainly do the checkout. 

Toy-world is definitely good place to work at but when it came to school and work i was struggling with school, so i quit but now because i have fully finished school. I dont want to go back their i would like to find a new place to work at that would be more beneficial for me and my life

management at toy world is terrible as supervisors and managers are toxic and they talk negatively about you to the team members, quiet job as there are no customers meaning you have nothing to do all day. all ways being watched and judged by people.

All some people to work with. You have your ups and downs some days the people I work with are enjoyable and sometimes grumpy and alot of attitudes most days. But other than that I love working cause I love to work with people.

The amount of staff Toyworld goes through is disgusting. My personal experiences have never been good. The management of that place is so wrong, so many things need to be brought to attention.

Great place to work if you enjoy staying on your feet all day taking care of the store and customers and filling and cleaning up shelves. Pay is good as well as managers are good 

dealing with the public was fun 
cleaning the store and merchandising need to be done daily
unloading new products and pricing 
doing window displays to suit the season

beautiful workplace with friendly staff i really enjoy my work and work enviroment at toyworld and would recomed this job to other people in the mackay area
